Fitting of a medieval RPG, Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 has an easter egg featuring a sword stuck in stone.

This is, of course, a reference to the extremely popular tale of Excalibur. This mythical sword of Arthurian legend was originally found stuck on a stone. Whoever managed to pull it out was said to be fated to find the Holy Grail. Is Henry of Skalitz the one fated to encounter the Holy Grail?

Read on and we’ll tell you everything there is to know about the “Sword in the Stone” easter egg in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2. Excalibur awaits, maybe!

Sword in the Stone | Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 Easter Egg

You can find the Sword in the Stone easter egg directly northwest of the Nomads’ Camp in Trosky. You have to get to about the middle of the forest there and reach the spot marked above. Sadly, it’s a pretty non-descript spot with no notable landmarks.

Once you get to the spot, you should notice a clearing with some stones in the middle. One of those stones will have a sword seemingly stuck to it. Is this the legendary Excalibur!?

Well, as it turns out, the reality of this easter egg is far less exciting than you would expect. Approach the sword and try to grab it to find out that it’s merely a Weapon Stub. It’s just a broken sword, there’s nothing special about it…

That said, you can try using the “Weapon Stub” as a weapon if you so wish. We advise against it since it’s extremely ineffective, though. That said, there’s no denying that defeating a foe with it would be quite funny!

So, there you have it! That’s all there is to know about the “Sword in the Stone” easter egg in this game. Sadly, you don’t get the legendary Excalibur, but it was a nice little easter egg nonetheless.

Speaking of easter eggs, did you know there’s a reference to one of the most popular anime and manga ever in this game? To know more, read our article covering the One Piece Luffy’s Straw Hat easter egg!
