How to Solve Alchemist Riddle in KCD2 – Fetch Ingredients for Bushek

One of the “In the Service of the Guild” quests in the Legacy of the Forge DLC for Kingdom Come: Deliverance II (KCD2) will require you to solve a riddle by an alchemist for some ingredients Bushek needs. The riddle is aptly called a strange riddle for good reason, though. It’s a bit too cryptic, and can even misdirect you! Fret not, though, we’ll help you solve this with ease.

How to Solve Alchemist Riddle and Fetch Ingredients for Bushek | KCD2: Legacy of the Forge

If you’re here, you’ve likely already found and read the strange riddle left behind by the alchemist. The main thing you need to pay attention to here is the mention of Saint Peter, as the rest of the riddle is fairly misleading. It even mentions something about going west, which is the wrong direction altogether!

Instead, you need to head east of the inn where the alchemist was staying. Go to the spot shown above, along the path.

Once you get there, you should notice a small white shrine dedicated to Saint Peter. That’s your ticket!

Crouch behind the shrine and interact with the rocks on the ground there. This will “open” a hidden chest there, which holds the ingredients that Master Bushek asked for. Well, that and some other goodies that you are free to take with you! Doubt the alchemist needs those anymore, truth be told.

With that, all that’s left is to return to Master Bushek and deliver the goods. Ask for whichever reward you want and you’re all done. That’s all you need to solve the alchemist riddle and fetch ingredients of Bushek during the Legacy of the Forge DLC in KCD2.
