After you come across the merchant, you will find the hexagonal-shaped box beside a colossal gate. But in order to get through the gates, you have to solve the slot puzzle of the hexagonal emblem.
You can find the hexagonal emblem south of the valley area. Once you follow the south direction of the abandoned factory, you will soon come across the hexagonal box.
Trouble in Your Way
As you play through the south of the Valley, you may encounter many enemies. Therefore, you need to be aware of your ammo and use them sustainably.
Make good use of red barrels to save your ammo. They will also help you kill mobs at once. Then, following the map, you will reach the factory gate which will only open by turning a lever up the hill.
Once you have the hexagonal emblem, you must return to the slot and insert it.
Here lies the difficulty of the puzzle, as you need to turn the emblem appropriately to match it up with the given bird symbol.
The solution is to rotate the emblem until the bird is upright (not inverted). Also, it must face the opposite direction of the picture behind the hexagonal emblem.
In the end, you need to turn around the emblem so that the right-hand side at the bottom looks unique from the other side and isn’t similar.
Once you solve the puzzle in the above way, you need to “confirm” to solve the puzzle finally. A metal handle comes into existence from the posterior side of the emblem.
By pressing the action button, you’ll open the large gate and cross other barriers to your goal, saving the president’s daughter.
