This DLC sees Henry finding his father’s burnt-down forge. Recognizing the place and wishing to carry on his father’s legacy, Henry decides to rebuild and rekindle the place. Legacy of the Forge DLC Start Location | Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
Before we begin, we recommend that you double-check that you grabbed the Legacy of the Forge DLC. This is particularly true if you’ve bought the Expansion Pass, and especially on PlayStation consoles. Just search for Legacy of the Forge in your platform’s storefront and make sure that it says it’s purchased.
If you don’t own the DLC or the Expansion Pass, you’ll also obviously need to purchase it. It’s a fairly cheap DLC, but it’s not a free one. Either way, you’ll get a pop-up confirming you have the DLC next time you launch the game.
With that out of the way, you’ll also need to reach the Kuttenberg region. It unlocks naturally as part of the game’s main story, so you’ll need to progress the story if you’re not at that point yet. Don’t rush the story if you’re not there yet, though. Take your time enjoying it.

Once you reach the city of Kuttenberg itself, check the map. You should now see a purple icon with an anvil on it, as shown above. That’s the starting point of the Legacy of the Forge DLC! It’s right across of the Hole in the Wall tavern, so you can’t miss it.
Go there and you will spot an abandoned building. Henry will instantly comment on it, saying that the place looks familiar. At this point, you should see a prompt to start the DLC on your screen. Just press the button or key shown in the prompt and you’re all set!
That’s all you need to do to start the Legacy of the Forge DLC in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. Despite being a forge-themed DLC, it doesn’t really require you to master the blacksmithing minigame. Nonetheless, it does help! Check out our guide on blacksmithing for help with that mechanic.
