The Beetle has five attacks.
- Normal Headbutt
- Rock throwing
- Rapid charge at the player
- Kick dust
- Lunge forward dealing heavy damage
Its elemental weakness is salt, so the Salt Morning Star is a great weapon to use against it. However, if you don’t have it upgraded tier 2 armor and a tier 3 weapon is recommended to face against the Black Ox Beetle.
Another tactic you can use is to attack it from a distance like using an Insect bow. Keep in mind to watch out for the rocks it’s going to hurl at you. It’s important to keep yourself mobile while shooting, to throw off its aim.
