The Morel is a type of mushroom you need for things like the Spring offering at the Lake Temple in Coral Island.
Unlike other resources, however, Morel tend to be elusive. Unlike a quest item that pops up in one spot every day, Morels are a forageable spring item that spawns in the wild.
Therefore, knowing where to look makes all the difference. We’re here to help you out.
Where to Find Morel in Coral Island

Morels in Coral Island are mushrooms that pop up on the ground. You can distinguish them with their light brown/caramel color with a slightly spotted texture like real morels.
They also behave like other forageables, so you simply have to walk close to them and press your interact/collect button to pick them up. Morel doesn’t have a fixed single spawn point on the map, but there are consistent areas where most players report seeing them most often.
Some of the most common forage areas where Morel can been found are as follows:
- The vineyard and forested paths around the island. These are dense green areas where forageables spawn frequently.
- Paths near Emma and Dippa’s house. People often overlook this area, but it’s on the official spawn list for Morel in spring.
Morels only appear in spring as part of the forageable rotation. They won’t show up in summer, fall, or winter, so scanning these spots early in the year gives you the best shot.
The other location is beside the Alun Alun sign that’s below the Lake. The lake is to the east of the map, just past Starlet Town. You won’t miss it.

What Morel is Used For
Morel is more than just a collectible. This mushroom also counts toward Lake Temple Sesajen offerings (spring) and is also a valid ingredient for mushroom logs once you unlock them via foraging mastery.
That means you can build logs and farm morels later on instead of relying on random spawns.
Finding a couple early in spring will make offerings way easier and prevent you from scrambling on Spring Day 28.
