As you play through Coral Island, you will eventually need some building and crafting materials to further upgrade your farm. While you can find various materials through exploration, there are some that you need to buy in certain shops.
One such shop is the Carpenter shop. If you don’t know where to find this one, then this guide will help you.
Where to Find Carpenter Store Location Guide in Coral Island

You can find the Carpenter in a little area called Hillside, which sits just northwest of town proper near the vineyards and brewery region of the map.
If you open your real in-game map and zoom out a bit from your farm, you’ll see their icon up on the hillside area rather than the main town square.
That said, Hillside isn’t far. You simply exit the northern gate of their farm, follow the path toward town, and then veer slightly northwest once the landscape opens up.
That’s where you’ll spot the Carpenter shop.
Inside the shop, you’ll find Joko and Dinda with their family, and this location doubles as both a residence and the place you pay for upgrades/construction.
When you walk up, don’t expect a generic item vendor. This place is the core of farm progression in Coral Island. You can’t craft barns or coops anywhere else.
That said, the carpenters handle the following:
- Build new structures such as Coops, Barns, Sheds, Silos, Wells, Fish Ponds, Insect Houses, and more.
- Upgrade those structures to higher levels, thus increasing capacity or unlocking new features.
- Upgrade your house interior and exterior through several stages.
- Buy basic materials like Wood, Hardwood, Calendars, and Aquariums if you’re short.

You literally will make multiple trips here as your farm gets bigger. The game forces you to bring the required materials from your inventory when placing or building stuff here.
Like most shops in the game, the Carpenter has a schedule. During Monday to Friday, it’s open from 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM. During Sunday, it opens at the same time but closes early at 2:00 PM.
On Saturday, however, the shop is closed.
If you’re worried about time, make sure to go early, especially when triggering quests like Home Sweet Home, which requires you to interact with them to complete objectives.
