This quick and easy guide will walk you through where to find the Buried City Residential Master Key and the location to use it at. Also, the possible loot waiting for you inside. And, as with all single-use keys in the game, you can expect great rewards behind the locked door.
Where to Find the Key
You can obtain the Buried City Residential Master Key as a random drop in the drawers and cabinets of residential areas. The spot I find the most reliable is the Ruby Residence on the Dam Battlegrounds map.
You can also find keys, and specifically this one, on the second floor of the Research and Admin Building. Make sure you search each drawer and cabinet. Just be aware, these drops are not guaranteed, but I have found these areas I find to have the best success rates.
Where to Use the Key
Once you have found the key and extracted it, load into the Buried City map. You’ll want to head to the Grandioso Apartments in the West Village.

Around the building, you will find a broken window leading into the apartments. Right after you walk into the building through the window, you will notice a door on your left that you can use the Buried City Residential Master Key on. This is a one-time use, so be sure you are ready and in a position to use it.
Rewards
There is a ton of loot in this room. You can even find an Epic Tempest I in this room, which is a great assault rifle in this game. There is also a Security Breach container, which has good rewards as well. Make sure you loot every drawer and container, as there are uncommon and rare materials for you to gain.
