Like most keys in ARC Raiders, the Blue Gate Communication Key spawns in random locations. It’s most common in containers within residential areas, but its spawns are all random.

ARC Raiders: Where to Find Turbine CompressorApr 30, 2026That said, it is at least worth noting that it’s not tied to the Blue Gate map itself. This means that it can spawn on any other map, such as Dam Battlegrounds or Spaceport!
Among the most common places players can find it include:
- Drawers and cabinets
- Residential buildings
- Tool containers
- Office-style loot areas
- Research and administration structures
Since you can only use the key once, I highly recommend placing it inside your Safe Pocket before you enter a raid. The drop rate is fairly low, so losing it during an engagement can be painful.
Other players also reported a spare key that can appear behind the reception desk in Pilgrim’s Peak. However, this isn’t guaranteed.
Where to Use the Key
Once you have the key, you will need to go to the eastern part of the Pilgrim’s Peak area in the Blue Gate map. It’s in the very northeastern corner of the map, as you can see on the screenshot above.
From there, you need to reach the bottom of the communication tower. Then, as the clip above shows, look for a large steel gate on the eastern part of the building. You can use the key on the panel by that steel gate to open it up, revealing a place full of loot!
Loot-wise, this locked room seems to have a decent amount of potential weapon spawns. So, if you’re in need of something to add to your arsenal, it’s a good place to check out.
Some potential loot includes crafting materials, weapon attachments, electronics, rare components, ammo, consumables, and even mid to high-tier weapons.
Server racks spawn frequently in this room, making it highly useful if you’re after electronics and other high-value crafting parts.
Is the Key Worth Using?
Well, that would depend entirely on your playstyle.
If you mostly play solo, the loot room can feel rather inconsistent, especially since the Blue Gate Confiscation Room key exists. If anything, most players consider it a mid-tier key.
Still, the room contains reliable container density, decent electronics farming, and a decent weapon spawn potential. As long as the northern side of Blue Gate remains peaceful during your raid, I highly suggest opening the room for extra loot before extracting.
