Soldiers in Last Train Home are at risk of being injured anytime they enter combat, so it’s important to know how to heal them while they’re back on the train.
Soldiers with the “Injured” status will start to lose HP quickly if their injuries are left untreated, which can be fatal!
In this guide, we’ll tell you everything you need to know to ensure that your soldiers are always in tip-top shape!
How to Heal Injured Soldiers In The Train

The only way to treat injured soldiers in Last Train Home is by placing them in the train’s Hospital Car. This will recover their health and also treat their Injured status.

First, start by clicking on your train’s Hospital Car.

Make sure you have at least one doctor assigned in the topmost section, aptly titled “Doctors”.

More doctors will make healing more efficient, but doctors will get tired while working.
With your medical staff in place, click on the bottom section titled Recovery.

This will bring up a list of every soldier in need of treatment. Just click on the ones you wish to assign to a recovery bed and you will place them in the Hospital Car.
Now all that’s left is for them to rest up and get treated by your medical staff! Just like in real life, healing is a time-consuming process.

You’ll need to wait for enough in-game time to pass for your soldiers to heal, with graver injuries leading to longer recovery periods.
Nonetheless, you can take your recovering soldiers out of the Hospital Car at any moment by clicking on them again. This will cut their recovery short, obviously, but it’s still worth keeping in mind.
All you can do now is wait, either way. Fully healed patients will leave the Hospital Car on their own and return to active duty. But at least now you know how to treat them once they get injured again!
