Bars are a resource you will want a lot of in Coral Island. Why, you may ask? Simple, it’s an upgrade item, and as you may know from experiencing similar games, without upgrade there is no progress to be had.

Making bars is not complicated, but there are things to be done before you can create them. In this guide, we will teach you everything you need to start creating your bars.

How to Smelt Ore Into Bars in Coral Island

You make bars with a Furnace. You will be able to make one with a blueprint obtained from Pablo after you’ve explored the Cavern. If you are on the area or soon-to, focus on getting 40 stones and 20 copper ores as well, as they’re the materials required to craft it.

So that by the moment you go to Pablo and get the blueprint you are all set up to make your furnace.

How to Get Bars

You will need 5 Ores and 1 Coal per each Bar you want to make. You can find these materials in Pablo’s store, or what is more recommended, mining them from the Cavern as buying them can be really expensive. It depends if you are feeling up to grind resources or not.

When you have your ores and coal, all you need to do is place these items plus your furnace in your toolbelt for quick access.

Put the furnace down in any location you want and are able to, and select the ores, placing them in the furnace by hovering your mouse over it. Placing the ores will automatically consume the coal of your toolbelt too, so do not worry about that.

The furnace will get to work for some seconds, you can tell because it will shake and let out some smoke. After it is finished an icon will float over the furnace, indicating it is done. You will need space in your inventory to claim your newly smelt bar, so make sure to open some.
