There are dozens of side adventures for you to complete as you explore the vast open world of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and “Gourmets Gone Missing” is one such quest.

It seems that the Riverside Stable chef is worried that some people have gone missing. They were meant to bring him a recipe from Princess Zelda but they have taken too long.

In this guide, we’ll tell you what you need to do to find these missing gourmets and complete this quest.

Penn will mention that Gotter has been waiting for his guests to arrive for a long time, which seems strange.

Go to the Riverside Stable and speak with Gotter to know more about the situation! He said they always cross the Owlan Bridge and point you toward its direction, saying it’s strange they’re not here yet.

Making Princess Zelda’s Recipe

Making Princess Zelda’s Recipe

Look for a man slumped under a tree called Agus and speak to him. He will hint that you need to make Princess Zelda’s recipe, but doesn’t elaborate any further. Besides, he seems to be unwell…

Thankfully, the recipe is written down on a piece of paper at the center of this camp.

Just approach it and read it to get the “Princess Zelda’s Meat and Rice Bowl” recipe. This is the famous recipe held by the gourmets gone missing.

It’s time to get cooking! You will need to get the following ingredients to make this dish:

  • Hylian Rice: obtained by cutting down rice plants, which look like golden grass all over Hyrule. Additionally, you can buy it from shops like the East Wind shop in Hateno Village.
  • Raw Meat: obtained by hunting wild land animals.
  • Rock Salt: mined from mineral veins in the various caves all over Hyrule.

If you already have the ingredients, light up the campfire with the pot in the middle of the camp. Can’t cook without a fire!

Now open your inventory and find one of the ingredients. Next, press A to select it and choose “Hold” from the menu. Find the other two ingredients and press A to add them.

Approach the pot and press A while holding all the ingredients to cook. Meat and Rice Bowl ready to serve!

Go back to Agus and speak with him. It seems the smell of the dish woke him right up! Offer him the Meat and Rice Bowl and a cutscene will play.

The “Gourmets Gone Missing” quest will complete as soon as the cutscene ends. Penn will reward you with a Purple Rupee and the Lucky Clover Gazette Fabric.
