Salt is one of the many resources you can find in Throne & Liberty, as long as you know where to look.

You can use Salt, as you might expect, to make use of the Cooking feature in the game. This will let you turn ingredients into food which provides extremely strong buffs to your character. In short, you always want to have some Salt around to cook!

In this guide, we’ll tell you the easiest way to find Salt in Throne & Liberty.

Where To Find Salt | Throne & Liberty

Crustaceans

Salt in Throne & Liberty is a drop from all crustacean-type enemies which you can usually find near beaches. These enemies include Large Stone Crabs, Chestaceans, Megalobsters, Hermit Lobsters, Starlight Fireflies, and more.

Windhill Shores

To hunt these beasties down, we highly recommend going to the Windhill Shores in the Laslan region. We’ve marked it for you on the map above. It’s also a pretty nice region to go fishing if you wish!

Salt from Megalobster

This entire area has crustacean-type enemies exclusively and in fairly large amounts. What’s more, it’s a low-level area so you should have no trouble farming the mobs here as long as you are at least Level 7. Just hunt down the hordes of enemies and pray to RNGesus so that you get some Salt. All things considered, Salt is a pretty rare drop in this game.

Use Amitoi Expeditions

Amitoi Expedition Map

Alternatively, you can use the Amitoi Expedition feature from the Amitoi House. If you haven’t unlocked it yet, it becomes available at the start of Chapter 3 of the main story. Just keep progressing the main quests and you’ll unlock it naturally, as it’s unmissable. Just enter the Amitoi House and use the Amitoi Expedition Map to start.

For more details on how to unlock the Amitoi features, check out our guide on how to enter the Amitoi House.

Amitoi Expedition to Windhill Shores 1

Now, you can send the Amitoi on expeditions to various regions. Once they return, you’ll get a variety of randomized loot based on the region you chose. You can see potential rewards on the bottom right side when picking regions.

Amitoi Expedition to Windhill Shores 2

As you might notice in the image above, the Windhill Shores region has a chance to give Salt upon completing an expedition. The more Amitoi you send, the better the rewards!

That said, Amitoi Expeditions do require you to wait real time to complete. It’s a good idea to start them before you go farming Salt on your own, but we recommend farming the crustacean-type enemies yourself if you need Salt fast.

Nonetheless, that’s all you need to know about where to find Salt in Throne & Liberty!
