“Keepsakes in the Sand” is one of the Exploration Codex tasks you can do in the Monolith Wastelands in Throne & Liberty.

Many Resistance soldiers have fallen in the region. However, their keepsakes have been scattered to the sands thanks to the hostile wildlife in the area. The Desert Cobras in particular make it hard for others to recover the keepsakes! It shouldn’t be any trouble for you, though.

In this guide, we’ll tell you how to complete the “Keepsakes in the Sand” Exploration Codex quest with ease.

Keepsakes in the Sand Exploration Codex | Throne & Liberty Guide

The “Keepsakes in the Sand” Exploration Codex task in Throne & Liberty starts in the Monolith Wastelands, Stonegard. You’ll need to visit the Crematorium close to the area’s Waypoint, marked on the map above.

Once you get there, look for the Crematorium Worker and talk with him. This is your first objective for the Exploration Codex. The worker will ask you to help him take out the Desert Cobras nearby to retrieve Resistance Emblems belonging to the fallen Resistance soldiers.

However, before you do that, your second objective is to investigate one of the Charred Corpses at the Crematorium. There are quite a few of them, and they’re all marked with the usual blue star-shaped icon. Just interact with any of them to complete the objective.

Hunting Snakes and Gathering Emblems

After that, your third objective is to defeat 10 Desert Cobras in the Monolith Wastelands. They are most common north of the Crematorium, in the area we encircled in the map above.

The Desert Cobras can be tough enemies if you’re underleveled, but you shouldn’t have much trouble with them otherwise. Take out 10 of them to continue the Exploration Codex task.

Next up, you need to collect 3 Resistance Emblems. They are randomly thrown around all over the Monolith Wastelands, but the game doesn’t mark them on the map. However, it does mark them on your minimap with the usual blue star-shaped icon. Use the image above as a reference for what you’re looking for.

Once you pick up the 3 Resistance Emblems, return to the Crematorium Worker from the start of this quest. Talk with him and give him the Resistance Emblems. He’ll thank you profusely and give you 6 Quality Accessory Growthstones as a reward!

This was the final objective, too, so you now know everything you need to do to complete the “Keepsakes in the Sand” Exploration Codex task in Throne & Liberty. This isn’t the only Exploration Codex task in the Monolith Wastelands, though. Make sure to check out our guide for the “Dastardly Morti Guild” Exploration Codex as well!
