“Dastardly Morti Guild” is one of the many Exploration Codex quests you can do while exploring the Monolith Wastelands region in Throne & Liberty.

The eponymous Morti Guild seems to be up to no good. For one, they have raided an allied guild for no apparent reason. Besides, there are also rumors of them having connections to bandits in the area. Complete this quest to get to the bottom of this mystery and stop the guild’s shady dealings!

In this guide, we’ll take you through every step required to complete the “Dastardly Morti Guild” Exploration Codex quest.

Dastardly Morti Guild Exploration Codex | Throne & Liberty Guide

To start the “Dastardly Morti Guild” Exploration Codex quest in Throne & Liberty, head to the Taras Memorial Hall. You can find it in the Monolith Wastelands, Stonegard. We’ve marked its spot on the map above for you.

Once you reach the building, look for a grapple point by the western entrance. Grapple onto it and use your Glide Morph when you’re in the air.

Then, glide east to find the Scared Resistance Soldier near a small hidden campfire. He’ll mention that he belongs to the Rivera Guild, which was suddenly attacked by the Morti Guild. This makes no sense since both are Resistance, so he asks you to investigate!

Next up, you’ll need to head back to Vienta Village in Stonegard. You need to find a member of the Morti Guild there and talk to them. The game marks the potential location for Morti Guild NPCs on your map with blue star-shaped icons. However, the game seems to want you to go talk with a specific Morti Guild Advisor.

Head to the bridge in the northern part of Vienta Village marked on the map above. The Morti Guild Advisor seems to be guaranteed to appear there. If he doesn’t appear there for you for some reason, check the other spots marked on your minimap.

Once you spot the Morti Guild Advisor, approach him and talk with him to complete the objective.

Once you manage to talk to the Morti Guild Advisor, you’ll need to find and talk with him a second time. You can find him in the southern part of Vienta Village at this point, as shown above.

Crashing the Morti Guild’s Party

Approach the Morti Guild Advisor and ask him again about the fight between the Rivera and Morti guilds. He’ll tell you to leave him alone and that you’re lucky he doesn’t have the time to deal with you right now, then rush off.

Thankfully, he didn’t notice that he dropped a letter while leaving. Interact with the Black Market Contract on the floor and read it. It seems the Morti Guild is in cahoots with the Sandflame Bandits…

To continue your investigation, follow the path east of where you picked up the Black Market Contract.

You should see a grappling point on the cliffside, grapple toward it.

Then, use your Glide Morph and try to land on the nearby balcony. You might notice a large door with a blue sigil on it.

When you land on the balcony, interact with the large door to enter the Morti Guild Base. Do be ready for a fight, though! As soon as you enter the building, the Morti Guild and Sandflame Bandits members will attack you.

Quickly defeat all of the enemies and then check the desk in the back side of the room. Pick up the Ornate Chest on the desk to find Jacque Hander’s dagger. It was stolen during the raid on the Rivera Guild, so it’s perfect proof of the attack!

Now, you just need to return to the Scared Resistance Soldier near the Taras Memorial Hall. He’ll be in the same spot as before. Talk with him and return the stolen dagger to him to complete the “Dastardly Morti Guild” Exploration Codex quest in Throne & Liberty!

This is only one of the quests in the Monolith Wastelands, however. For more, check out our guide on the “Keepsakes in the Sand” Exploration Codex task.

Venezuelan gamer cursed by being interested by most games, resulting in a ridiculous backlog he’ll never be able to conquer. Been gaming for over two decades now! Few things exemplify his wide variety in gaming tastes as the fact that he’s a big fan of both Souls games and the Atelier series at the same time. Also a big fan of Yakuza/Like a Dragon, Deadly Premonition, Zero Escape, and Dead Rising, among others. Considers Lost Judgment and Sekiro to both be masterpieces.
