So you’ve made it to the Lone Wolf quest in Arknights: Endfield and, surprise! There’s a locked gate staring you down. If you’re like me, your first instinct might be to randomly pull levers and hope for the best. Don’t. This puzzle is actually pretty simple once you know what to look for. You just need to pay attention to the environment and your character’s occasional commentary. Think of it as the game’s way of giving you a gentle nudge: “Hey, notice these symbols!”

How the “Find a Way to Open the Gate” Puzzle Works

The gate puzzle revolves around a set of levers, each linked to a symbol displayed around the room. You’ll find these symbols on rocks, walls, and other surfaces nearby. They correspond directly to each lever, so scanning the room carefully is key.

While you explore, your character will periodically speak a word aloud. These lines show up in the subtitles at the bottom of the screen, and they are the actual clue to the correct lever sequence. Ignore visual assumptions, trust the spoken sequence.

Make Sure to Reset the Puzzle Before You Start

Before you dive in, make sure everything is reset: all indicator lights should be red, and all the levers should be facing down. Resetting the puzzle ensures that your inputs will register correctly and prevents accidental misfires.

Lone Wolf “Find a Way to Open the Gate” Puzzle Correct Lever Sequence – 21543

After scanning the room and paying attention to the character’s dialogue, the solution becomes clear. The sequence you need is: Angry Face, Sun, Run , Feet , Fire (or if you prefer numbering the symbols, it goes like 21543).

Pull each lever in this order, and when you activate the final one, the gate will automatically open. It’s satisfying when that “click” finally happens after a little exploration.

I’ll put a video below showing the lever sequence in action, so you can see exactly how it plays out if you’re more of a visual learner.

Here’s a video showing the correct lever sequence – Angry Face, Sun, Run, Feet, then Fire (or 21543), to solve the Open the Gate Puzzle in the Lone Wolf quest on Arknights Endfield.

Wrap-Up: Gate Opened, Quest Continues

And just like that, the gate swings open, letting you move on with the Lone Wolf quest. The key takeaway? Take your time scanning the room, listen to your character, and reset the puzzle before starting. No brute force required.

Once the gate is unlocked, you can even access and power the Bridge Approach Camp Power Plateau Ferrium Ore Mineral Bed, which transitions perfectly into the next part of your Endfield adventure. If you want a head start, check out How to Power the Bridge Approach Camp Power Plateau Ferrium Ore Mineral Bed in Arknights Endfield, because even Ore wants a little electricity in its life.
