The Lost Isles expansion just released for LEGO Fortnite, bringing the new Tropical Treasures Battle Pass and quests alongside it.

We currently have access to the first week of quests from the Tropical Treasures Battle Pass. All of these quests involve exploring the new Lost Isles region, and completing the Battle Pass will unlock a bunch of new tropical-themed builds for you to use.

In this guide, we’ll tell you how to complete all of the Tropical Treasures Battle Pass quests for the first week of the season!

How to Complete Tropical Treasures Battle Pass Quests | LEGO Fortnite: Lost Isles – Week 1

Isle Vibes

Eat Five Tropical Fruit

Tropical Fruit Example | LEGO Fortnite - How to Complete Tropical Treasures Battle Pass Quests

Let’s kick things off with possibly the easiest of all quests in the Tropical Treasures Battle Pass for LEGO Fortnite. You simply need to find and eat 5 tropical fruits of any kind. These tropical fruits include Coconuts, Pineapples, Tomatoes, and Bananas. All of them are found randomly everywhere in the Lost Isles region.

Do note that you don’t need to eat 5 different fruits, either. Simply eating 5 Pineapples would work, for example!

Upgrade or Interact With Level Two NaNa Village

Village Square structure | LEGO Fortnite - How to Complete Tropical Treasures Battle Pass Quests

The first thing you need to do to get started here is to find at least one of the two known NaNa Villages in the Lost Isles. This is the trickiest part, as their locations are randomized for every world and they aren’t marked on your map. Look for the Village Square structure out in the wild, as shown above.

To make things easier, it’s important to know that each NaNa Village seems to spawn primarily in specific biomes, as follows:

  • Nan’er Hamlet – Jungle, usually spawns very close to the beach biome.
  • Plantain Pavilion – Beach, by the shore.
Example of Plantain Pavilion objectives

Once you find one of these NaNa Villages, you’ll need to speak with the nearby NPC and use the Village Square to start upgrading it. Since each village has a different set of objectives, though, we’ll give each one their own section.

Nan’er Hamlet

Nan'er Hamlet | LEGO Fortnite - How to Complete Tropical Treasures Battle Pass Quests

As we mentioned previously, Nan’er Hamlet is a NaNa Village that you can usually find by exploring the jungle biome in the Lost Isles in LEGO Fortnite. However, it might also spawn in or near the beach biome. The NPC for this village is Bananthony.

Bananthony

Once you speak with Bananthony and offer to help him rebuild, interact with the Village Square. You’ll see the following tasks:

  • Complete an Architecture Build – Simply build any of the game’s prefabricated structures near the Village Square. For example, place a Simple Shack nearby.
  • Grill 3 Pineapple – First, create a Grill using 30 Granite and place it near the Village Square. Then, find 3 Pineapples, which are commonly found in the Lost Isles’ jungle biome. Use the Grill to cook the Pineapples and you’re all done!
  • Obtain a Health Charm – You’ll need to get a Crafting Bench to make this. Any tier of Health Charm works, so we recommend going for the Common one as it’s the easiest to craft. You’ll need the following materials:
    • Silk Thread x3 – Dropped by Spiders, which are most common at night and in caves.
    • Bone x3 – Dropped by all Skeleton-type enemies, commonly found at night and in caves.
    • Wolf Claw x5 – Dropped by Wolves. They spawn at any time of day in grassy biomes, which means the plains and jungle are your best bets in the Lost Isles.
  • Village Comfort Level 2 – Placing any buildings or decorations near the village will increase this naturally. You should get this as you complete the previous objectives.
Upgraded Nan'er Hamlet

When you’ve completed all objectives, interact with the Village Square once more. You can now click on “Upgrade Village”, bringing the Nan’er Hamlet to Level 2! Do so to complete the “Upgrade or Interact with Level Two NaNa Village” quest in LEGO Fortnite: Lost Isles.

Plantain Pavilion

Plantain Pavilion | LEGO Fortnite - How to Complete Tropical Treasures Battle Pass Quests

This is the easiest of the two NaNa Villages to find, as far as we’ve seen. You can find the Plantain Pavilion along the shoreline in the Lost Isles’ beach biome, so go on a nice walk along the beach and you should come across it eventually. Look for the NPC Bananiel and the nearby Village Square to find it.

Bananiel

After talking with Bananiel and agreeing to help, interact with the Village Square. You’ll need to complete the following objectives to upgrade the NaNa Village:

  • Finish any Guided Build – To complete this, simply place and build any prefabricated building near the Village Square. The Simple Shack is the easiest one to do.
  • Build Surfaces – You’ll need to build 2 of these and place them near the Village Square. “Surfaces” refers to pretty much anything from the Surfaces tab in the Furniture building menu. For example, build and place 2 Ancient Tables to complete this.
  • Gather Coconuts – Collect a total of 5 Coconuts. You can get Coconuts by cutting down palm trees, which are plentiful in the beach biome.
  • Village Comfort Level 2 – Placing any buildings or decorations near the village will increase this naturally. You’re pretty much guaranteed to get this after the Guided Build and Surfaces are done!
Upgraded Plantain Pavilion

Once you’ve completed all of these objectives, interact with the Village Square one more time. Click on “Upgrade Village” to complete the “Upgrade or Interact with Level Two NaNa Village” quest in LEGO Fortnite: Lost Isles!

Build a Jungle Village in the Lost Isles

Creating a Village Square | LEGO Fortnite - How to Complete Tropical Treasures Battle Pass Quests

For this one, you’ll first need to get a few materials. Gather 10 Wood from chopping down trees and 10 Granite from breaking Granite rocks, both of which are extremely common everywhere in the world. Once you’ve done that, head to the jungle biome in the Lost Isles region.

Simply build a Village Square anywhere in the jungle and you’ll automatically complete the quest. You don’t need to maintain this village if you don’t want to, either!

Pirates Arrgh Life!

Craft a Musket, Flint-Knock Pistol, or a Cannon

Mahogany Tree example | LEGO Fortnite - How to Complete Tropical Treasures Battle Pass Quests

To craft most of these new items, you’ll first need to get Mahogany. As we explained before in our guide on how to get Mahogany, you’ll get Mahogany by chopping down Mahogany Trees like the one shown above. However, the Cannon is a good alternative if you don’t want to get Mahogany.

Flint-Knock Pistol Recipe

Personally speaking, we recommend crafting the Common rarity Flint-Knock Pistol. It’s the easiest one to craft as it simply requires the following:

  • 2 Mahogany – Obtained from cutting down Mahogany Trees.
  • 1 Mahogany Rod – Made by refining Mahogany at a Lumber Mill.
  • 1 Cord – Made by refining Vines at a Spinning Wheel. You’ll need 5 Vines, you can get them by cutting down bushes all over the world.
  • 1 Blast Powder – Found in chests or dropped by Skeleton Pirates which spawn at night.

Once you have all the materials, simply use a Crafting to make the Flint-Knock Pistol and you’ll complete the quest.Station

Best Friend Klombo

Talk to Haven

Haven's Village | LEGO Fortnite - How to Complete Tropical Treasures Battle Pass Quests

There are two ways to meet Haven, one of the new NPCs in the Lost Isles. The easiest one is to simply create a brand new world, which will spawn you directly in Haven’s Village.

Haven NPC

Once that’s done, you just have to look around for Haven and speak with her. She has her brown hair in a braided ponytail and wears a bright orange jacket, as shown above. You’ll complete the quest as soon as you’re done talking with her.

Alternatively, you can get Haven to spawn whenever you upgrade a village in the Lost Isles. This can either be a custom village you created by placing a Village Square, or one of the NaNa Villages we’ve covered previously in this guide. However, this seems to be unreliable and she doesn’t always spawn, so we recommend creating a new world instead.

Tame a Klombo

Klomberry | LEGO Fortnite - How to Complete Tropical Treasures Battle Pass Quests

The first thing you need to do to tame a Klombo in LEGO Fortnite is to get 1 Klomberry. They are a new plant exclusive to the new Lost Isles region. Klomberries are large blue berries with a somewhat triangular shape. You can only find them in the plains biome of the Lost Isles. You can see one above as an example.

Remember, every world in LEGO Fortnite is unique since they are procedurally generated. As such, we can’t tell you the exact locations for either Klomberries or Klombos.

Klombo in the wild + visual sound effects icon

Once you have at least 1 Klomberry, continue exploring the plains in the Lost Isles. You should eventually spot a Klombo. They’re large purple lizards, so they’re almost impossible to miss. What’s more, the game will notify you of their position with an icon of their face if you have Visual Sound Effects enabled. You can see an example of a Klombo in the wild and its icon on the image above.

Klombos seem to mostly spawn in the Lost Isles’ plains and jungle biomes, making them the best spots to find them. Additionally, they aren’t hostile unless you attack them, so you don’t need to be wary of them.

Feeding the Klombo

When you finally find a Klombo, equip the Klomberry in your hand and walk up to the Klombo. You’ll get the prompt to Feed it once you are close enough. Feed it and you’ll instantly tame it, allowing you to ride it as a trusty mount now!

Heading for Adventure

Visit a Llama Island Head

Example of a Llama Island Head

As we mentioned before: the Llama Island Head is hard to visit as it seems to be a completely random spawn, so it can appear anywhere in the Lost Isles in LEGO Fortnite. If you’re exploring your own world, there’s no way for us to tell you where to find it. All we can do is give you the image above. It shows a Llama Island Head in the wild as a reference for what you’re looking for.

Enable Player Fly Mode

To make things a bit easier, you could try completing this quest by enabling the Player Fly Mode. You can enable it from the World Settings, but it will set your world as a custom world. Alternatively, you can just play in Sandbox Mode instead. Either way, you can double-tap Jump when flight is enabled to move around faster.

Location with Seed

Another alternative is to simply use a world seed and go to a known spawn location. To do so, generate a new world using the seed 1965827555 and then head to the spot marked on the map above. We recommend enabling flight or using Sandbox Mode to make it easier to reach the spot, as well.

Llama Island Head on the hill

You should spot the Llama Island Head on top of a hill when you reach the marked spot. It’s out in the open so it should be extremely easy for you to notice it. Simply get close to it to complete the quest!

Magic or Science?

Travel by Battle Bus

Battle Bus Station | LEGO Fortnite - How to Complete Tropical Treasures Battle Pass Quests

To complete this, you’ll simply need to use any Battle Bus Station to fast travel to any location. As we covered in our guide on how to get to the Lost Isles, though, the location of these Battle Bus Stations is completely random. Nonetheless, you should easily spot one as you explore the game’s world. Use the image above as a reference for what they look like.

Flying on the Battle Bus

Simply use any Battle Bus Station once to complete the quest.

That brings us to the end of our guide, so you now know how to complete all the Week 1 quests for the Tropical Treasures Battle Pass in LEGO Fortnite!
