Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 allows you to steal horses and even sell them for a decent amount of Groschen. With that knowledge, you might be wondering if it is possible to fast travel with a mount that is not yours. Well, this guide will give you the answer to that, as well as a few other things that you can do with stolen horses in general.
Do You Keep Stolen Horses When Fast Traveling?
The simplest answer to this question is yes, you do. As long as you stay on the stolen horse, you can fast travel to and from anywhere you want at your leisure. This does not mean you own it, however, and it may just run away if you try to leave it somewhere for a bit.
Now, if you plan on selling or keeping the stolen horse, that is where things get a little more complicated. First, you will need to go to the Nomads’ Camp northwest of Semine if you are in the Trosky region.
There, you must speak with horse handler Mikolai. He will give you an option to either sell or acquire the horse that is currently with you. The prices will vary, and you do have the option to haggle with him. After finalizing your transaction, you should now have the horse in your possession.
If you are in the Kuttenberg region, you can do this at horse handler Stoia, who can be found just a short trek to the west of Kuttenberg city. The process works the same way as with the guy in the Nomads’ Camp.
Just keep in mind that keeping a stolen horse can be quite expensive. Be ready with at least one or two thousand Groschen, if not more, for horses that have good stats.
Also, it should be noted that these horse handlers typically only operate at day time. So, if you go there at night, you will have to find a way to pass the time while still keeping the stolen horse with you.
As hinted earlier, fast traveling back and forth can help with this, as you cannot wait while riding. You also should refrain from leaving it anywhere, because some unlucky players have stated that they are not guaranteed to stick around even if they are parked at a trough.
If you do not have the patience to play around the time constraints, save your game and then try your luck by dismounting and waiting on the spot. Sometimes, a stolen horse might stay, though this is not a guarantee.
To make your waiting more productive, consider fast traveling and then manually riding back to pass the time and get a bit of free horsemanship EXP. This will be a bit more time consuming, but at least you actually get something useful out of it.
Because it is possible to fast travel with a stolen horse, this can actually become a very easy to exploit moneymakingmethod. Seriously, you can quickly rack up thousands of Groschen by just repeatedly stealing horses and fast traveling to the nearest black market handler.

If he’s not busy working or writing on his personal blog, there’s also a non-zero chance that you stumble into him in pretty much any multiplayer game that has SEA or OCE servers. He’s pretty good at anything unless it’s a fighting game, in which case you’d probably body him.
