As you play hours and hours of Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, you will eventually build up a mountain of loot that can make you a lot of money, but only if you know how to get rid of them properly. In this guide, we will go through a few things you need to know when it comes to selling gear in the game, as well as the best place to do just that.

Best Place to Sell Weapons, Armor, and More

If you just want an answer to the question as to which area is the absolute best, it is going to be the city of Kuttenberg. This is because there are all kinds of merchants scattered throughout this single zone, making it easy to get rid of literally everything that you want to dispose of.

Just walk around the northern part of the city, which is where most of the merchants are located. Everything you want to sell, you can sell all around this city. The only thing you need to keep in mind is that not every merchant will buy all of your goods.

You see, traders will typically only buy stuff that they sell themselves. For example, armourers will buy your armor, tailors can take your clothes and other light equipment, swords are sold to weaponsmiths, and apothecaries will accept your herbs and other ingredients.

With that in mind, there is no “best” merchant to speak of. They are all fairly limited in how much they can buy from you, though their Groschen does replenish over time. This is by design, as you can easily trivialize the economy if you could just game the system in one go.

One thing to remember is that certain speech perks can make it easier for you to make money through merchants. Polished Wares can let you net a better price for already expensive and mint condition gear, while Final Offer will give you one extra shot to haggle for a better deal.

There are also fences that can take stolen goods. We have a whole other guide on how to deal with stolen items that will help with that, though keep in mind that fences typically will not have a lot of money. Thankfully, various perks can help with that too.

That is pretty much all there is to it. Essentially, you will be completely fine if you just sell your gear to any other merchants. Kuttenberg requires a fair bit of progress into the main story to even gain access to, so do not wait that long to offload your items. Just sell them to the appropriate traders.
