Fortnite has a new section in its current battle pass that’s all about General Grievous from Star Wars, including a brand-new skin of the character.
With all of the Star Wars celebrations currently going on in Fortnite, it’s no surprise that one of the most famous antagonists of the historic franchise gets a skin. However, obtaining the skin isn’t a particularly speedy process…
In this guide, we’ll tell you how to get the new General Grievous skin and how to do it as fast as possible.
How to Get the General Grievous Skin Fast | Fortnite
The General Grievous skin is part of the paid version of Chapter 6: Mini Season 1’s Galactic Battle Pass. It’s not available on the Free rewards, so you’ll have to pay for the premium pass, which costs 1000 V-Bucks. You can find General Grievous as the final reward on page 1 of the Grievous Rewards.
To get General Grievous, all you need to do is earn account Levels. You need a total of 14 Levels to reach the skin and claim all of the page 1 Grievous Rewards in the battle pass. As such, all you can really do to get the skin at this point is to just grind for XP to level up!
Worth noting, you can also get the Warlord Grievous variant at the end of page 2 of the Grievous Rewards. That one requires a total of 28 Levels, so it’s a bit of extra grinding…
You can get XP naturally by just playing Fortnite in any mode. Battle Royale, LEGO Fortnite, Save the World, or even Creative. All of these provide XP to you. We personally recommend first trying to gain XP by simply completing quests in Battle Royale, as that’s a quick way to get levels. If you haven’t done so yet, the Star Wars Story Quests are a good place to start.
Alternatively, you can also find and use XP Maps made by other players. However, they can be unreliable, and results vary pretty often as the XP exploits used by these maps get patched out. Still, it’s an option if you do find a reliable map!
Nonetheless, that’s all you need to do to get the General Grievous skin in Fortnite. It’s ultimately a grind, you will get the 14 levels fairly quickly if you just play the game and complete quests.
Gamer cursed by being interested by most games, resulting in a ridiculous backlog he’ll never be able to conquer. Been gaming for over two decades now! Few things exemplify his wide variety in gaming tastes as the fact that he’s a big fan of both Souls games and the Atelier series at the same time. Also a big fan of Yakuza/Like a Dragon, Deadly Premonition, Zero Escape, and Dead Rising, among others. Considers Lost Judgment and Sekiro to both be masterpieces.
