There are a lot of new things to do and discover in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 with the release of the new DLC, Legacy of the Forge, where Henry tries to continue his dead father’s legacy. One of the things you can do as a part of the DLC is to complete a series of new quests, which will then unlock various rewards that you will find useful throughout the rest of your time interacting with the mini expansion’s activities. Here is how you do one step for a certain quest!
How to Get Heart of the Clock in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 – Lion’s Roar Kilij Sword Recipe
Before we begin, if you somehow stumbled into this before actually engaging with the DLC, make sure to check out our guide on how to find the starting location for the Legacy of the Forge DLC in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 to get started first.
While doing the Martin’s dream activity, you will eventually be asked to talk to Vetter. Simply follow the quest marker in your map to find him. Upon talking to Scribe Tietz Vetter, ask him about the keepsake that he has from his father.
He should tell you about the mysterious device that he has no idea what to do with. You can pay him some money to get it, but just know that it will be pretty expensive. If you do not wish to pay that much money, distract the people around the house he is in and then sneak your way upstairs.
At the dining room in the second floor, you will find the Heart of the astronomical clock displayed on a side table. Simply walk over to it and grab it. Make sure to avoid detection all throughout this process, as you are trespassing!

Upon stealing it, you should now be done with the “get the heart of the clock” quest step. Make sure to check the lock box to the right of where the heart of the clock was. This will contain a sketch of the Kilij, Lion’s roar as well.
Sneak back out of the building and head back to the smithy, which is your next objective. You can also talk to the Fly first, but this is completely optional.
Once you are at the forge again, place the heart of the clock on the table with the sketch of the plans. You should see an option to “Place” when you are right beside it. Once you have done this, Martin’s dream should now be completed, and the heart of the astronomical clock will appear on the desk.
That is really all there is to it. Once you are done with that step, you can go back to Magdalena and talk about the next step of the plan. If you took the Kilij, Lion’s roar sketch, you can also go ahead and use that to craft a one-handed Turkish blade. It will require the following materials:
- 2x coloured gold
- 1x enamel powder
- 2x jasper
- 1x acidum chloridum
- 1x exotic wood
- 2x dogfish skin
- 2x Toledo steel
And that is a wrap for this entire quest step! You should now be armed with all of the important things that you need to know in order to get to the next part of the story. Now get out there and continue rekindling the lost legacy of your dead father!
