Being a Digivolution of Agumon, Greymon is one of the most recognizable faces of the Digimon franchise. In this game, it’s a pretty strong Digimon that you can get relatively early. Plus, you can even ride on its shoulders to get around! Read on, we’ll tell you how to get this powerful and iconic Digimon.
How To Get Greymon | Digimon Story Time Stranger
The easiest way to get Greymon is to first get Agumon. For that, you’ll need to get a Koromon. You can find and scan Koromon while in the Forgotten Rails area, which you first reach during the “Signs of an Anomaly” mission.
Alternatively, you can also start with a Botamon. You can find that Digimon even earlier in the game, in the Tokyo Government Building: Entrance. If you have a Botamon, you can Digivolve it to Koromon as long as you meet the following criteria:
- Agent Rank 1 or higher.
- 350 Max HP or greater.
- 150 ATK or greater.
If your Digimon lacks the stats, you’ll need to level them up either through battles or using the Load Enhancements feature.

How To Get Greymon Blue & Garurumon Black in Digimon Story Time StrangerOct 4, 2025As a last alternative, you can get Koromon by De-Digivolving any of the following Digimons:
- Guilmon
- Dracomon
- Kotemon
- Betamon
- Shoutmon
Once you have a Koromon, you can Digivolve it to Agumon as long as you meet the following criteria:
- Agent Rank 1 or higher.
- 530 Max HP or greater.
When you finally have your charming orange Agumon, you can Digivolve it to Greymon. Greymon is the 4th choice from the top, as shown in the example above. Your Agumon will need the following requirements:
- Agent Rank 3 or higher. You can increase your rank by spending Anomaly Points, which you get from completing story missions and side quests.
- 1120 Max HP or greater.
If you have everything set up, you just need to confirm the Digivolution! Your small orange Agumon will turn into the classic Greymon. That’s all you need to do to get Greymon in Digimon Story Time Stranger!
