Overall, this is how you can learn the recipes for all 5 different crafting skills in Hero’s Adventure:

Alchemy

You will get recipes up to Epic from the Taoist Sect shop and quests, as well as trading with doctors in each city. Legendary recipes are in the locked chests at the Health Center in Lin’an City, requiring Machinery 5 to unlock.

If you focus on medicine crafting, then joining the Taoist Sect will be greatly beneficial in the long run. Aside from granting you access to certain recipes, you can also level up your Alchemy much more efficiently this way.

Armor

There are very few armor recipes in this game, you can get some by opening the chests in the Cloud Fabric Shop in Daliang City with Machinery 3. The only Legendary recipe is on the top floor of the Taoist Sect’s Star Chaser Pavilion.

As such, it’s ideal to raise your Machinery early on so you can open chests that contain certain crafting recipes.

Cooking

Found by opening chests in the house by Fragrance Square in Daliang City, trading with Hua Sinian at the Nameless Village, and opening chests at Lin’an City’s Inn.

Tools

Complete the Nameless Town smith’s quest and invite him to your party to get most of the recipes. The peddler in Nameless Town will also sell you high-quality recipes if you speak with him when you get your Gathering skills to Level 5.

Weapons

Legendary sword crafting success

You’ll learn Normal recipes at the Nameless Village smithy. You can learn Rare and Epic recipes by trading with smithies in other cities and get Legendary recipes as part of the Langya Sword Pavillion’s quests and shop.

Early on, you can make use of village and city blacksmiths if you plan to specialize in weapon crafting. However, the Pavilion will be your best option as it offers some of the strongest crafting options later on in the game.

A lot of merchants will sell different recipes depending on their location, so make sure to check every major city to obtain new recipes.

As your crafting skills improve, don’t forget to revisit merchants you’ve already visited, since you’ll be able to obtain stronger recipes this way.

Do note that you will need to increase your crafting skills for certain recipes to even become available, so don’t slack off and keep crafting! Nonetheless, now you know how to get every type of recipe in Hero’s Adventure: Road to Passion.
