28 articlesGTA 5 Online is celebrating the Lunar New Year with an event that allows you to unlock a lot of new clothing, outfits, and even a snake-themed livery for a car.
This Lunar New Year event lasts until February 12, 2025. Since this is the Year of the Snake, most of the cosmetics prominently feature snakes. They’re all time-limited, though, so you have to play the game while the event lasts if you wish to get them.
In this guide, we’ll tell you how to get all of the Lunar New Year 2025 cosmetics in GTA Online.
All Lunar New Year Clothing & Outfits Unlocks + Snake Livery | GTA 5 Online
Log-In Bonuses
The first set of Lunar New Year Clothing unlocks you can get in GTA 5 Online requires no effort, unlike some other outfits and the Snake Livery. Log into the game between today and February 12, 2025 to get the following clothing items for free:

As we said before, you should get all of these clothing items as soon as you log into the game between now and February 12. It’s as simple as that!
Gold Snake Santo Capra Outfit
Unlike all the previous clothing items, this outfit is going to require a bit of work. First, though, you can see a preview of the outfit above. It’s similar in design to the Red Serpent Leather Jacket, but it features a goat instead of a serpent.
To get this outfit, you need to collect all of the 36 Yuanbao collectibles during the Lunar New Year event. The map above shows their locations.
To make these Yuanbao easier to spot, pay attention to the sounds they make. You will hear a repetitive cymbal-like noise whenever you’re close to a Yuanbao. The sound intensifies the closer you get to the Yuanbao. Use our map and trust your ears to collect them all and get the Gold Snake Santo Capra Outfit!

Do note, though, it can take up to 72 hours for the outfit to be delivered to your wardrobe. That said, some players reported that they got it instantly, so it varies for everybody. Either way, the game will notify you that you have collected all Yuanbao once you grab the 36th one.
Snake Livery – Maibatsu Penumbra FF
Now that we know how to get all of the Lunar New Year clothing and outfits in GTA 5 Online, it’s time to go over how to get the Snake Livery. This is a unique livery for the Maibatsu Penumbra FF and you can see a preview of it above.
To get this Snake Livery, you simply need to complete any of the new Lunar New Year Stunt Races. You can find them in the Races category of Rockstar Created Jobs in the pause menu. Simply complete any one of these 3 Stunt Races to get the Snake Livery!
Similar to other rewards, it can take up to 72 hours for you to receive the Snake Livery after completing a Lunar New Year Stunt Race.
Also worth noting is that the Maibatsu Penumbra FF itself is currently on a 30% off sale in-game. You can purchase it from Southern San Andreas Super Autos. Well worth picking it up to use the Snake Livery if you don’t have this car currently.
