All Equipment Upgrades Guide
To customize your gear, you need to approach the table in the alley. Pressing your customize gear button will bring up the customize menu. Let’s go through each upgrade for each weapon
Particle Thrower
The particle thrower is a hand-held neutron wand that fires an ion stream to hold and pull a ghost into a trap.

Ghostbusters Spirits Unleashed: Ultimate Defense Trophy GuideNov 1, 2022You can upgrade it with a Quantum accelerator, Cryo Venter, Heat sink, Stream Extender, and Whip Pulser. Each upgrade has its own pros and cons, but the bottom line is that each upgrade greatly boosts the weapon’s effectiveness.
You can add a grip like a vertical foregrip and a horizontal grip. The effect depends on the kind of grip you use but overall they control your recoil.
Proton Pack
The Proton Pack can be upgraded with an Energy Isolator, Efficiency Optimizer, and Centrifugal Thruster.
You can also upgrade its Generator and Cyclotron. Each item has its own type of upgrade once implemented to the weapon.
P.K.E Meter
With the P.K.E Meter, you can customize its Arms, Handle, and add an attachment to it. The Arms can be extended and add a Pure Selenium that further enhances P.K.E stunning.
Adding attachments to the handle increases your equipping time while additional attachments such as the Pulse Booster Bypass increase the range of your P.K.E Pulse.
Ghost Trap
The Ghost trap has many upgrades to its arsenal. You can upgrade its Inner Mechanism, Battery Pack, Base, and Foot Pedal
Each upgrade increases the efficiency of the gadget drastically. You definitely want all these upgrades when Ghostbusters Spirits Unleashed comes out this week.
