You can then use it on food to feed your allies to boost their friendship level with you.
Not just that, but making the spices will also earn you a variety of rewards such as Primogems. This timed event will be available until April 10th at 4 AM.
So, put on your favorite apron and read on! In this guide, we’ll look at everything you should know to cook the best meals and get all the rewards in this event.

To be eligible for this event, you first need to reach Adventure Rank 20. That’s the minimum level required to be able to prepare the spices needed for the event.
Additionally, you need to reach Adventure Rank 28 if you wish to invite your teammates to taste-test meals. This will grant bonus Companionship EXP!
You will also need to complete the Idle Teapot Talk main quest which unlocks housing.
Once you reach AR 20, you will get a new quest called “A Visitor From Westward Realms: The Flavor of Freedom”. You just need to talk with Sara in the City of Mondstadt to complete it.
Cooking Spices for the Event
With that out of the way, you can now participate in the event itself. To start, open the Event menu and view the Event Details.
This will bring you to a page where you can see the day’s recipe. You will need to collect the listed ingredients first before you can cook the recipe.
Once you have the ingredients, open the same page where the recipe is and start cooking.
This will bring you to a minigame. You’ll notice a list of ingredients at the top, and one will be highlighted with golden corners.
At the bottom of the screen is a bar with a sliding needle. You have to press the Cook button as the needle passes by the ingredient highlighted at the top.
The Cook button is shown on the bottom right of the screen. If you’re playing on PC or mobile platforms, you can just click or tap on the ladle as well.
The minigame is actually very easy, so you should have no trouble completing it. You will get Fragrant Seasoning successfully completing it.
Cook the recipe 3 times and then go back to the Event menu to claim your rewards!
Inviting Characters for Taste-Testing
If you successfully prepared Fragrant Spices, you can add them to any Delicious meals you have. Just open the inventory and choose Use Seasoning when hovering over a meal.
Note that this only works on “Delicious” meals! These are meals that are prepared perfectly.
Now, head to your Teapot with your seasoned food ready. Walk up to a teammate and choose “Please try this!” then pick a seasoned meal you have.
You can only do this 3 times a day, and you won’t get any Primogems from doing so either. However, it’s a good way to boost your Companionship EXP.
