That said, let’s have a look at some driving assists in the game. First is traction control. Basically, traction control helps prevent wheelspin each time you accelerate. If you accelerate too hard without traction control, it will just cause your car to spin away.
What you want to do is to increase the power gradually to prevent the wheels from spinning. It might not sound that much, but driving without it will help you gain one second less every single lap.
The other one is gear shift. Ideally, you can choose from either automatic and manual. While automatic seems nice, manual is the way to go. With an optimal manual gear change, it’s possible to gain half a second less per lap.
