Bahrain is the first race track that was featured in the F1 calendar for several years. In F1 22, however, you can only see it on the calendar once, indicating that it’s a rear limited track. That said, Bahrain has a number of fun and fast corners as well as long straights. All these make it one of the most enjoyable tracks you can play on in the game.

As with any other track, Bahrain requires a particular setup, and that’s what I’m going to show you in this guide.

Best Bahrain Race Setup in F1 22

Due to Bahrain’s layout, your best option here is to focus on a low downforce while prioritizing extra rear aero. This will help stabilize your car as you go thorugh those fast sweeping corners throughout the circuit.

Aerodynamics

As a rear limited track, Bahrain will restrict your car to the rear tyres. This means you have to prioritize adjusting the rear portion of your car. A good way to achieve this is to run slightly higher aerodynamics at the rear wing of your car than the front one.

I recommend setting the front wing aero to 10 while the rear wing aero is at 19.

Transmission

As for the transmission, you’ll want to increase your on-throttle diff to 85% and your off-throttle to 53%. Doing so will help prevent your rear tyres from spinning up as quickly as normal.

Suspension

You can find a handful of curbs on some corners in Bahrain. In order to reduce your corner angles when going through corners, you’ll want to have a softer than average suspension. By doing so, you can prevent your car from bouncing too much whenever it runs over the curbs.

The ideal setup is 9 for the front suspension and 2 for the rear, 9 for the front anti-roll bar and 2 for the rear, and 4 for the front ride height and 5 for the rear.

Brakes and Tyres

There are lots of heavy braking zones in Bahrain. In fact, it might just be one of the hardest circuits as far as braking zones are concerned. To make it a lot easier, you can set your front tyre pressure to 23.2 psi and rear tyre pressure to 23.0 psi. I also recommend adjusting your brake bias to 50%.
