The Mines in Coral Island are a great place to mine resources like ores, stones, and coal. Who knows? You might even get rare stone items like gems.

That said, the mines are very deep, and each floor requires you to spend energy breaking rocks to proceed to the next level. It would be nice if there’s a way to fast travel, wouldn’t it?

Luckily, there is! However, you need to unlock the ability to fast travel first. Here’s how.

To unlock fast travel, you first have to start a quest called the Mythical Dream quest. This eventually leads you to the Lake Temple and the ability to make offerings there.

Once you complete your first offering and receive the Goddess Blessing, fast travel becomes usable at the Lake Temple and Farm.

After that, you can light up other waypoints around the island.

Now, to unlock fast travel near the mines, you have to reach level 15 in the Earth Mine. Once your miner has hit that depth in that mine shaft, the shrine beside the mine entrance becomes active as a fast travel waypoint.

However, just reaching level 15 isn’t always enough if you already unlocked fast travel elsewhere before you hit that floor.

In that case, you need to physically exit and re-enter the mine and hit level 15 again so the game tags you as having walked that threshold with the fast travel system active.

While this does unlock fast travel for the mines, it doesn’t let you teleport inside the mine shaft mid-dive. It only takes you to the entrance shrine outside. From there, you still have to run or use the elevator to go into deeper levels.

But especially once you start doing low-effort ore grinding or energy dumps, not having to hike from your farm every time is a big QoL improvement.

Also, take note that you can only fast-travel to levels divisible by 5. These are levels 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, etc.
