The Wunderwaffe is a familiar weapon to those who have played the Call of Duty Zombies games. It first made its appearance in the original Shi No Numa map, and since then, it has become a favorite among many players.

With the introduction of the “enhanced” version of Shi No Numa in Call of Duty: Vanguard, players will be excited once again to get their hands on the Wunderwaffe. There are two different ways to get your hands on this weapon. The first is via the Mystery Box and the second is by building it.

The problem is that the first method will only cause the weapon to appear on the loot pool in Round 10. This makes the second method the far more sensible option. Let’s have a look at how you can build yours.

Wunderwaffe Build and Upgrade Guide Shi No Numa in Call of Duty Vanguard

You will need 3 different parts in order to build the Wunderwaffe. While you can find the weapon early on, you won’t be able to use it unless you gather all of the parts. Let’s have a look at where each of those parts is located.

Weapon Barrel

You can find the barrel on a shelf located in the Fishing Hut area. After obtaining the barrel, you then have to charge it on the Comm Room Exterior. There, you can find a green electrical box. You need to place the barrel into the box and then kill the wave of zombies that spawns afterward.

After killing enough zombies, it will charge up the radio tower. Simply grab the barrel once it’s done.

Vacuum Tube

Once you’ve collected the barrel, go inside the Comm Room to obtain the next part, the Vacuum Tube. You can find it on the radio, and similar to the barrel, you also have to charge it. to do so, wait for Zaballa to spawn. This enemy will fire grenades at you, and you need to have those grenades hit the Tesla Coil which you can find in the Excavation Room.

As soon as it gets enough charges, you can then interact with the coil to grab the tube. You’ll know when it’s fully charged when the coil becomes purple.

Fuse

The last part you’ll want to collect is the Fuse. You can find it on a table inside the Comm Room. To charge the Fuse, simply head to Storage Hut. There, you can find an electric trap which you can interact with. Use the trap to cause its fuse to burn out. You can then place the fuse you found afterward. Turn on the trap then kill zombies in order to charge the fuse.

After you have finally charged all parts, go to the Storage Hut and look for a workbench containing the Wunderwaffe DG-2 as well as its blueprints. All you need to do is to interact with the weapon to build it.

Upgrading the Wunderwaffe

As if the weapon is not strong enough, you can actually upgrade it to make it even stronger. All you need to do is to find the Pack-a-Punch and use it. As you kill the zombies in Shi No Numa, you will earn credits which you can use to buy a lot of stuff.

Once you have earned enough credits, head over to the Foyer then buy the door. Follow the wooden path that points north until you arrive at a hut. Open the door on the left side then make your way to the Dig Site. There, you can find the glowing Pack-a-Punch.

To actually upgrade your Wunderwaffe, you have to spend thousands of credits. There are 3 different upgrade tiers, each one costing more than the former. Tier 1 will require 5000 credits, Tier 2 will require 15,000, and Tier 3 will require 30,000.
