Your base in Arknights: Endfield has limited storage space, initially only allowing you to store 8000 (8k) of each resource until you increase it.

While that might seem like a pretty high number at first, you’ll find yourself hitting the cap sooner than you would think. After all, things really speed up once you have your automated factory all set up!

In this guide, I’ll tell you everything you need to break beyond the 8k storage cap.

How to Increase Base Storage Beyond the 8k Limit

To upgrade your base’s Depot storage, you’ll need to visit the Depot Nodes across the world. You’ll encounter these as you naturally progress through the story, and they are not missable at all.

The very first Depot Node you encounter is in Originium Science Park on Valley IV. Later on, you’ll also unlock Depot Nodes at the Power Plateau and Origin Lodespring regions.

These are a bit further into the game, though. So, if you’re still on the first upgrade, don’t worry about them for now!

Anyway, to unlock the first Depot Node, progress the game’s story until you get the “Depot Node I” quest in Originium Science Park.

It’s a pretty simple quest, as it just requires you to walk up to the Depot Node to defeat some Landbreakers who are harassing the Operators there.

Once you defeat the Landbreakers, talk to the Operators and then walk up to the Depot Node. You’ll get the option to unlock it for the cost of 4500 Valley Stock Bills.

Remember, you can get more Valley Stock Bills by trading with outposts or defeating enemies. At this point in the game, 4500 shouldn’t be too expensive for you.

Purchase this upgrade, and you’ll complete the “Depot Node I” quest. Your Depot’s storage space will also be upgraded by 3000, giving you a total of 11000 for now.

You can get some extra upgrades at the same Originium Science Park Depot Node. However, the price is way higher than the first one! Still, I highly recommend saving for them if you want more storage and features.

Nonetheless, that’s all you really need to do to increase your base’s storage past the initial limit of 8k in Arknights: Endfield. Now you can hoard way more resources!

While you’re at it, it’s a good idea to improve your relationships with Operators. For that, check out our guide on how to buy gifts for Operators on the Dijiang.
