162 articlesIn the all-new extraction shooter, ARC Raiders, you will be given different quests that give you some extra XP and loot. Some are harder than others. But, in the Straight Record quest given to you by Celeste, this one will fall more towards the easy side. Follow along on this guide to learn the locations and objectives you need to complete to gain those sweet rewards.
Old EMP Trap
For this quest, head over to Victory Ridge on the Dam Battlegrounds map. The first objective is to locate the old EMP device. The weather here is hazy, so you may have limited visibility. In other words, you need to rely on your map for guidance.
Once you reach the area, go to the waypoint to locate and interact with the old EMP Trap. After interacting with the EMP, you’ll be asked to disable three power switches nearby.
Disable the First Power Switch
The first switch can be found on top of a hill, not far from the main EMP. Using the compass at the top of your screen, head north. Your map will show you the direct spot with a waypoint. Once there, interact with the object to fulfill this objective.

Disable the Second Power Switch
Now you need to find the second switch. To get there, head southeast from the top of the hill.
You’ll come across a generator that you need to climb. Then, scale the wall and jump onto the beam. The switch will be waiting for you across there. Interact with it and continue to the final one.
Disable the Third Power Switch
For the final switch, jump down to your right from the second switch. You will head southwest for a few paces, and then head south until you reach a pole with a wire running from it.
Follow the wire until you see a fallen tree on your left and another pole on your right. The third switch is located right beside it, and the wire ends with it. Once again, check your map if you are having a hard time figuring out where to go.
Shut Down the EMP Trap
After disabling all three switches, return to the first EMP device. You will interact with it for a final time to shut down the EMP Trap and complete the Straight Record quest.
And that’s all there is to the Straight Record quest in ARC Raiders! This mission is straightforward, and it gives a good bit of XP and loot; no reason not to get it completed! So shut down those EMPs and keep pushing through the Dam Battlegrounds.
