Taking down the Queen in ARC Raiders can feel overwhelming the first time you encounter her. She is a big enemy with a lot of health. If you run across her and don’t know how to fight her, the battle can be easily lost. However, with the right positioning and weapon loadout, the fight becomes possible to win. Follow along with this guide as we explain everything you need to know about the Queen.
Best Areas to Fight
The Queen only appears during particular world events, like the Harvester events. You can sometimes encounter her in the Red Lakes area at Dam Battlegrounds. But it is not recommended because it’s wide open and offers little to no cover, making it a tough battle.

I recommend fighting the Queen at the Power Generator complex. This location is ideal as it provides multiple angles and structures that allow you to engage the boss from a safe position. Your positioning for fighting the Queen is essential to your success.

Here are three options for positioning:
1) Metal Staircase
You should head down the metal stairs that overlook the area. This angle gives you plenty of cover while still maintaining a clear sightline on the Queen. You will still need to dodge her rockets and shrapnel.
2) Rooftop Position
A rooftop platform overlooking the courtyard offers similar benefits to the first spot. High ground makes it easier to avoid incoming projectiles and track her movements.
3) Interior Balcony
Enter the nearby building, then vault out toward a balcony view of the Queen. This position provides an excellent firing angle, but she will begin using her laser attack against you here, which deals heavy fire damage. You’ll still need to avoid missiles and shrapnel. So, be wary of this position. It is doable, but it adds an extra attack to the Queen’s arsenal.
Queen Weak Spots
To bring the Queen down quickly, aim for her weak points:
- Leg joints (knee-like circular hinges)

- Central eye

- Brain core (reveals after enough damage is done). This is right next to the eye.
If you’re looking for a good coordinated strategy, have everyone target the same leg. Once it breaks, her brain becomes visible. Focus gunfire on the visible brain to trigger her into a burning state and push her towards defeat.
Queen Abilities
The Queen has only a few major attacks:
• Missile volleys that explode into shrapnel upon landing.
• Laser beam that inflicts strong fire damage (this is only triggered if you fight from the balcony area).
If you fight from the staircase or rooftop, you only have to worry about rockets and shrapnel. Positioning greatly dictates how complex the fight becomes. Again, showing how powerful positioning is for this fight.
Weapons & Ammo
The most efficient weapon against the Queen is the Hullcracker. Because of her high health, you’ll need a large amount of ammunition.
Estimated ammo & inventory requirements:

- Hullcracker: 200–250 rounds total
- If you’re running as a group of three, each player should bring 70–100 rounds.
- If using Wolf Packs, expect to spend roughly 20–25 to bring her down. I do recommend using Wolf Packs on the Queen, as she is a very high-tiered enemy, and these are highly efficient at defeating her.
You do need to be aware that your weapon durability will suffer greatly in this battle. Plan on bringing two or three anvils so you can repair mid-fight as needed. Or, bring another Hullcracker.
Again, this is a resource-heavy encounter, and managing your stock is the real challenge. I would rather overpack my inventory than not have enough of something.
Queen Loot Overview
Where you loot the Queen matters. She drops two valuable items:

- Magnetic Accelerator (Epic)

- Queen Reactor (Legendary)
Here is what you can expect from the different areas you can loot:
- Looting a leg: 1 Queen Reactor + 1 Magnetic Accelerator

- Looting the center body: Up to 3 Queen Reactors

In total, a Queen can drop up to nine Queen Reactors. This is more than enough to split between your squad. Even with two squads fighting and looting the Queen, most players can walk away with one.
What To Do With Queen Drops
Here is what you can do with each lootable item:
Queen Reactor
Recycling one gives: a Magnetic Accelerator and a Power Rod
Magnetic Accelerator
This is used to craft the Hullcracker. Here is the recipe for it:

- Magnetic Accelerator
- Heavy Gun Parts
- Exodus Module
Crafting Legendary Weapons
You can get materials for crafting legendary weapons. But you’ll need to be a Gunsmith Level 3.
Two legendary weapons become available to craft through this fight:
Jupiter
A bolt-action sniper rifle specialized for piercing ARC armor. Here is the recipe:

- • 8 Power Rods
- • 20 Processors
- • 1 Queen Reactor
Equalizer
A high-capacity beam rifle is effective against armor and limbs. Here is the recipe for the weapon:

- 8 Power Rods
- Voltage Converter
- 1 Queen Reactor
You can obtain Voltage Converters and Processors by purchasing them from Celeste in Speranza. If you don’t want to go through the trouble of looting them. They can be salvaged from household items like Industrial Chargers.

Final Thoughts
The Queen is an intimidating boss, but the biggest challenge is actually preparing for the fight. Now knowing proper positioning at the Power Gen complex, coordinated attacks, and knowledge of your inventory, the fight becomes manageable. The potential return is well worth the fight, especially if you are looking to craft legendary weapons.
So, prepare your route and inventory, and get to work.
