Marbled Gohma is the Scourge of the Fire Temple. This large rock spider will stop you from finishing the Fire Temple in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

The boss’ entire body is made out of rocks! However, it seems that the legs are more fragile than the rest of the body, allowing you to break them down.

Marbled Gohma is a massive rock spider and you can only damage it by hitting its singular eye at the top. However, it’s not vulnerable unless you bring it down first.

The boss’ legs are fairly unstable and will break if you hit them with enough force. Breaking three of the four legs will completely stop Marble Gohma and give you a chance to deal damage.

You will have Yunobo helping you with this fight. His Charge skill will allow you to send him rolling straight where you want him to. Send him to one of Marbled Gohma’s legs and he will break it!

You can use Yunobo’s Charge by approaching him anytime and pressing the A button. Hold the A button and you will be able to aim him better.

Additionally, you can use Link’s Recall ability on the rocks that the boss spits out. We highly recommend doing this constantly to give yourself some breathing room, plus it can also damage the boss at times.

Once you break enough legs, Marbled Gohma will fall and stop attacking. You can either climb atop it to smack its eye with a melee weapon, or you can shoot it with a bow from afar.

Don’t get overeager if you get on top of it, though! Get off once it starts rumbling or it will deal high damage to you.

Second Phase

The second phase will start once the boss is under 50% health. It will start crawling along the ceiling, making it harder to land Yunobo’s Charge.

He can still hit the legs, though! Just plan ahead since he will need to roll up the walls, which makes him take longer to reach the boss. Also, make good use of Recall to deal some extra damage.

Lastly, Marbled Gohma will start trying to encircle you with rocks. Use Yunobo’s Charge or Link’s Recall to create an opening and escape from the circle before the rocks explode!

Other than these new attacks, the process remains the same. Focus on breaking the boss’ legs to make it fall, giving you a chance to hits its eye.

Deal enough damage and Marbled Gohma won’t be able to take it anymore! A short cutscene will play and you will get your rewards, finishing the Fire Temple.
