Surviving against ARCs and other Raiders in ARC Raiders isn’t easy, but you can ease things a bit by picking up the best passives from the Skill Tree.
The Skill Tree in this game is fairly basic, but it does provide some large benefits as you level up. Things like faster looting, easier stamina management, mid-match crafting, and more! These are all crucial to surviving while topside.
In this guide, we’ll give you our recommendations on the best things to pick from the Skill Tree.
Best Skill Tree Passives | ARC Raiders

The Skill Tree in this game is spread out into 3 separate categories. Since you generally want at least a little bit from every category, you shouldn’t focus purely on just one as you level up.
With that in mind, we think it’s best to also spread out the best Skills to pick up based on which point you’re at in the game. This lets you know what to aim for at all times, essentially!
Now, let’s start with… well, the start of the game! In the early game, these are the main Skills you want to aim for:
- In-round Crafting (Survival) – Allows you to craft items during a Raid. This means you can make supplies, like traps and Bandages, on the fly.
- Youthful Lungs (Mobility) – Aim to max this out as soon as possible, as it increases your max Stamina.
- Marathon Runner (Mobility) – Reduces your Stamina consumption while moving. Max it out after you get In-round Crafting and max out Youthful Lungs.
- Used to the Weight (Conditioning) – Wearing a Shield doesn’t slow you down as much.
- Proficient Pryer (Conditioning) – Speeds up breaching doors and containers. Get it to at least 3/5 by level 25, but make sure to get it to 5/5 later on.
- Looter’s Instincts (Survival) – Speeds up loot reveals when breaching containers. Maxing it out is ideal.
Mid-Game to Late Game Recommendations

Moving on, you should be around the mid-game range by this point. That is, starting from around level 30 and beyond to the end-game at level 75!
Here’s the best Skills at this point, in order of importance:
- Broad Shoulders (Survival) – Allows you to carry more Weight in your inventory. While the game doesn’t give us numbers, it seems to be +10 Weight at 5/5.
- Agile Croucher (Survival) – You move faster while crouching. Good idea to get it to 3/5 or 4/5, at least.
- Carry the Momentum (Mobility) – Sprinting after a dodge roll won’t consume stamina for some time. Has a cooldown.
- Heroic Leap (Mobility) – You can Sprint Dodge Roll further. Maxing it out is a good idea.
- Loaded Arms (Conditioning) – Your equipped weapons have less impact on your encumbrance. This seems to essentially halve their weight.
- Nimble Climber (Mobility) – Speeds up climbing and vaulting. It’s a good idea to max it out by the time you reach level 75.

If you follow these recommendations, you should have a build pretty similar to what we recommended in our best builds and loadouts guide. After all, these really are some of the best Skills!
That said, there are also some noteworthy Skills that are good, but can be hard to fit into a build. Security Breacher is the biggest example, as it requires you to spend at least 36 points in the Survival tree to reach!
