If you noticed, Rockstar hasn’t poured in a lot of effort into marketing the upcoming Grand Theft Auto 6. Most of the exposure for GTA 6 only came from their trailers and the official website.

Of course, GTA 6 is a highly anticipated game for a lot of fans, so it’s already expected that it will make a lot of sales upon release. However, if Rockstar really wants to push the game to its intended audience, then they really need to up their marketing game.

This is where the associate director of content management comes in.

Getting in Touch with Grand Theft Auto Creators

The fact that Rockstar hasn’t been spending a lot of effort on marketing for GTA 6 could mean that they’re saving their marketing budget for later.

For Rockstar, it would make the most sense to market their games a few weeks before their release date. After all, if they market too early, fans would forget about it. However, the online sentiment that came along with the recent delay isn’t working to their favor.

The fact that it got delayed for the second time gave players the impression that it might get delayed again just a few months before its new release date.

As such, the open position will help Rockstar with its much-needed PR.

Since Rockstar is looking for someone who is “knowledgeable about Creator platforms and tools, social media, and Rockstar titles,” it could mean that the person who gets hired will be responsible for addressing the questions and worries of fans.

At the same time, this person will help reduce the spread of fake news surrounding Grand Theft Auto 6.

You can look at the complete details of the job opening here.

Salary is in a range between $111,000 and $160,800. It’s also a full-time position in their NYC headquarters in downtown Manhattan.

If you think you’re qualified for the job and are eager to help with Rockstar’s marketing team, then this application would suit you best.
