Just a week after Microsoft decided to increase the price for their Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription, the company has announced its first lineup of games for this month. It can be recalled that the price hike resulted in a backlash among its subscribers, with some claiming they’ll no longer subscribe to the service.

According to the company, this price hike represents “the expanded catalog, new partner benefits, and upgraded cloud gaming experience.

In a bid to justify the price increase, Microsoft decided to increase the number of day one releases while also adding Ubisoft + Classics and Fortnite Crew. They also made some upgrades to the streaming quality of Xbox Cloud Gaming.
