F1 22 has been finally released a few days ago, and with it comes several new stuff and changes to the game. If you are a fan of the previous F1 games, then you’ll be glad to know that several tracks have been drastically changed. Not only that, but there’s also an all-new track in the game.

Without further ado, let’s have a look at this all-new track as well as the changes on the existing ones.

All New Tracks and Track Changes You Need to Know About in F1 22

Several tracks from last year’s F1 game have returned in F1 22. These include the Red Bull Ring, Silverstone, and Imola. However, there’s also an all-new track in the form of the Miami International Autodome. After not being able to make it to last year’s version, the all-new Miami GP is finally introduced in F1 22.

A single lap measures 5.41km, meaning the entire 57 laps you have to complete during the Grand Prix will reach a total of 305 kilometers.

Aside from this all-new track, several race tracks are now fresh with some major changes and even a makeover. Let’s have a look at what these are:

Abu Dhabi

The Abu Dhabi racetrack has seen some major improvements. In particular, the Yas Marina’s turn 5 has been changed, and now you can notice that there’s no longer a chicane right before the hairpin. Not only that, but the hairpin is now a bit more forward to add more runoff.

Lastly, turns 11-14 are no longer there and you can instead see turn 9 chicane and 90-degree turns in their place.

Australia

Australia’s Albert Park Circuit now has more height and camber with more additional details. It has undergone remodeling via LIDAR data, making it look more akin to its real-world version. Some walls on the outfield are now in different positions while the curbs now have their new photogrammetry versions. Lastly, you’ll notice that turns 1, 3, 6, 8, 9, 11, 12, and 13 now have a new layout.

Spain

There’s not much of a change in Spain than the other two tracks. However, the changes are still pretty noticeable. In particular, turn 10 now has a new layout to match its real-world counterpart. Also, turns 10 to 14 have received several sausage curbs as well as new offtrack areas.
