In this guide, I’ll run you through some strategies that I found effective in defeating this boss. You can try whichever one suits you to finally defeat one. With that said, let’s destroy the Bombardier!
Bombing Run Quest Guide
The Bombing Run quest requires you to defeat a Bombardier and loot the Bombardier Cell. After that, you can return to Shani and complete the quest. Obviously, there are many locations where you can find it but there are some ideal locations where it spawns more.
Speaking of Shani, there is now a new way to get the guitar in ARC Raiders.

ARC Raiders: Where to Find Turbine CompressorApr 30, 2026The Bombardier is a ruthless enemy that can one shot you via its missiles. It is always accompanied by Spotters which are incredibly annoying to deal with in the open. They will call the Bombardier if they detect you.
That is why being indoors is the best way to deal with them. Alternatively, you can also sneak up or run up to the Bombardier quickly to deal with them.
Best Location
The best location to deal with the Bombardier is in the Buried City. There are two locations where it commonly spawns that you should go to:
- In the courtyard above the Town Hall
- Near the Plaza Rosa.
You can find plenty of indoor areas here that will help you sneak up quickly or deal with the Spotters indoors.
Strategy #1 – Slow & Steady
The first strategy is possible regardless of the resources you have. You can do it easily with any weapon that has heavy ammo.
I also recommend that you bring Blaze Grenades and Fireball Burners to make the process quick.
Once you spot the Bombardier, head into the nearby building. From here, you can simply peek out of the window and shoot. After each shot, retreat inside so that you are not exposed.
Do not peek when the Bombardier uses his Missile. Wait for him to use it first before you do. Otherwise, the splash damage will easily one shot even if you are inside. Eventually, you should be able to defeat it.
But you have to be patient.
Strategy #2 – One Shot
There is a way in which you can one shot the Bombardier – although it is more expensive and risky. The main thing you need to do is bring a Deadline with you.
You can craft a Deadline or purchase one from Apollo.
Additionally, I also recommend bringing a Photoelectric Cloak. This will make it easier to sneak up to it. However, if you cannot bring it you’ll just need to be stealthy.
After that, you need to find a Bombardier and get close to it. I recommend that you wait in a nearby indoors area or use the Photoelectric Cloak.
Next, you will need to attach the Deadline to the Bombardier. A great way to do this is to throw a grenade so that you can distract it. After that, simply go up to it and place it on the main body.
Don’t place it below the Bombardier because sometimes it will fail to explode.
Once that’s done, simply run away as fast as possible indoors so that you do not get hit by the blast. The Deadline will one shot the Bombardier and you can run out to loot it!
This will allow you to get one of the trophy display item parts as well.
