The Wake of the Water update for Enshrouded is here, and it adds a whole new set of building blocks for you to find.

There are 6 new Building Blocks and 4 new Roof Blocks for you to find. It’s a nice amount, and it does open up the possibility for lots of new customizations! But you’ll first need to hunt them all down…

In this guide, we’ll tell you where to find every single one of the new blocks in this update.

Where to Find All New Blocks | Enshrouded: Wake of the Water

Bamboo Wood Block

Let’s kick things off with an extremely simple one! You’ll automatically unlock this block whenever you chop some bamboo (shown above) and collect Bamboo Logs.

The area around Dragondream Lake is good for finding bamboo.

Castle Block, Castle Roof Block, and Shell Limestone Block

All three of these blocks will automatically unlock as soon as you gather some Shell Limestone, which you get by mining. This stone can be found in most places around Veilwater Basin, with Dragondream Lake being a solid farming spot.

Drak Temple Block

For this one, you’ll need to go to a Drak’Dal Temple. More specifically, the one furthest southeast of the Veilwater Basin Ancient Spire.

Once you reach that temple, you’ll need to enter it and go straight ahead into a body of water. Swim through the linear path until you reach a golden chest underwater. Open that chest up to obtain this block.

Drak Temple Roof Block

For this roof block, you need to go to the other Drak’Dal Temple that’s southeast of the Veilwater Basin Ancient Spire. This is the temple that’s closest to the spire on that side, and part of the “Finding Gold Coins” quest.

To enter this temple, you’ll need to swim into it using the body of water below the main entrance. The entrance is blocked at the start.

Once you enter the temple proper, you’ll reach a room with a chest half-buried in gold coins. Do not interact with it, as it doesn’t contain anything valuable! It’s a trap; interacting with it will flood the area.

Instead, go past the chest to find a locked door with 3 sigils above it. You need to find the hidden buttons that correspond to the sigils and press them.

For the first button, face the door and then go left. Follow the underwater path shown in the clip above to reach the button.

For the second one, swim in the same spot but go straight instead of going to the bottom of the underwater section. You’ll find the button on a wall there.

Finally, for the third button, face the door and then go right. Follow the underwater path shown in the clip above to reach the last button.

Once that’s done, return to the door, which will now be open. Climb the steel mesh grate on the wall there to reach the top of the temple, where you will need to defeat a miniboss.

After defeating the miniboss, go towards the temple’s entrance and then use a pickaxe to break the pile of coins to your right. This will reveal the chest that contains the Drak Temple Roof Block.

Half-Timbered Shell Limestone Block

Unlocks automatically once you collect Tropical Wood. You can get this material by chopping down the majority of trees in the Veilwater Basin biome.

Palm Leaf Roof Block

This will unlock automatically once you get Palm Leaves. To get that, you need to look out for palm trees like the one shown above. They are plentiful all over the Veilwater Basin biome. Simply chop them down and you’ll have a random chance of obtaining Palm Leaves.

Red Carpet Block

This time, you’ll need to go far northwest of the Veilwater Basin Ancient Spire, to Stillwater Bay. There, you will find a locked door that requires you to hunt down 4 buttons hidden all over the bay.

The first button is on the tower opposite of the entrance. You’ll need to grapple to it and shimmy around its exterior to reach it.

The second button is on a distant tower to the southwest. To reach it, glide and ride the currents to maintain airtime. Reach the base of that tower and use a lockpick to open a cell with the button.

The third button is near the center of the Enshrouded part of the town in Stillwater Bay, inside a small tower-like building. You’ll need to use a pickaxe to break the walls or a lockpick to open the cell.

For the fourth and final button, follow the route shown above by going northeast from the previous button. You’ll reach a locked house that has the button inside. Again, lockpicks or a pickaxe to break in. There’s also a chest here with the Captain’s Coat.

Once you’ve pressed all of these buttons, just return to the locked door from earlier. It will now be open, allowing you to enter a large room with the Red Carpet Block chest.

Shell Limestone Roof Block

For this one, you’ll need to go to Dew Drop Farm. In there, you’ll find a building with a hole in its rooftop.

Jump into the hole to find a chest you can open by using lockpicks, which will reward you with this block.

So there you have it, that’s how to get all of the new blocks added to Enshrouded with the Wake of the Water update. That’s a total of 6 Building Blocks and 4 Roof Blocks, quite a substantial addition!
