When you start playing Raft, you’ll float in the great ocean. The only choice is to enlarge your raft and set sail for the far-off island while trying to stay alive and hydrated.

Turning your raft into a paradise is entirely doable if you have access to the Trading Post, which will eventually be stocked with new items. To purchase new products, however, you will need Trade Coins.

How to Get Trash Cubes, Recycler, Trade Coins in Raft

There is a brand-new device in Raft called The Recycler. You can turn unwanted materials into Trash Cubes using it. Although it doesn’t seem like a worthwhile deal, this rubbish is actually quite valuable.

You can exchange the Trash Cubes at the Trading Post. Thus, they can be used as a form of currency to purchase important materials such as blueprints, resources, and many more. Some of these will help you increase your wealth.

Trading Post Guide

First, you need a blueprint to make a Recycler. It is situated on the island that you initially visit in the story. It is an abandoned radio tower, not a traditional island. The schematic you’re seeking is located on its top. Following that, you must work on it at your research table.

You can craft the Recycler once you’ve finished the tasks mentioned above. You will need screws or hinges (2), a circuit board, plastic (6), metal bars (4), and plastic (6) to create it. Once you have the Recycler, you need a battery to make it work.

Utilizing the Recycler is quite simple. It can recycle practically everything, with the exception of food, so all you need to do is put enough stuff into it, and it will turn them into a valuable Trash Cube. It takes about 5 minutes to complete the processing. When it’s finished, the cube will just drop out, and you can pick it up.

Trash Cubes can be exchanged for various goods at the Trading Post. There are different kinds of fishing lures among them. Using these, you can be guaranteed to capture multiple fish. After that, you can sell your catch at the trading post. You can easily earn Trade Coins in this way.

Fish that can be traded are the following:

  • Glowshrimp
  • Netnibbler
  • Sharp Carp
  • Foamspitter
  • Pufferfish
  • Pentapus
  • Rainbow Lobster
  • Lionfish
  • Lunar Fish
  • Trap Snapper
  • Shark Eater
  • Pink Pike
