Silk is one of the many resources you can gather in Smalland: Survive the Wilds. It’s used for various crafting recipes, usually to make some types of cloth.
If you are having trouble finding silk, this guide will help you out!
Where to Harvest Silk in Smalland: Survive the Wilds

To get silk, head west from the game’s starting point until you cross a river and reach a forested region.
You will also need to have Flint Shears! If you don’t have them yet, you will need to find their materials and craft them. They’re mandatory for harvesting silk.
This region is home to spiders. Considering your character’s small size, be ready to face spiders that are bigger than you! On a positive note, spiders’ webs are a good source of silk.

Keep making your way west in this region until you find a large tree with skulls and spiderwebs outside. Find its entrance to enter a spider nest where the NPC Lisandra resides.
Inside the nest, look for Spider Cocoons. This is where your Flint Shears will come in handy. Equip the shears and use them to harvest the cocoons.
As the shears break down the cocoons, you will get Insect Eggs and Silk. While harvesting, be careful of the spiders in the area as they might attack you sometimes.

If you exhaust the cocoons and still don’t have enough silk, you may need to leave the area and return when time has passed in the game. This should make resources renew.
While you might also find Spider Cocoons out in the wild in this region, this spot is the absolute best silk harvesting location!
