As we mentioned before, the Color Splash Jellie skin in Fortnite isn’t entirely free. Color Splash Jellie is tied to a promotion that lasts from January 13 to February 16, 2025. The skin is essentially a free bonus when you redeem a V-Bucks Card, so you would need to purchase a V-Bucks Card first. There is no method or trick to get the skin completely free without a V-Bucks Card.

Alternatively, you can get them from online retailers such as Amazon. For the purpose of obtaining the Color Splash Jellie skin, it doesn’t matter if you buy a physical or digital card. Any amount of V-Bucks works too, so you can go for the 1000 V-Bucks Cards since they are the cheapest.
Also, note that purchasing V-Bucks directly through Fortnite doesn’t count either. The promotion only works for V-Bucks Cards!
Once you have a V-Bucks Card, you just need to visit the official V-Bucks Card redemption website. Click on the “Get Started” button and follow the instructions on the website. It’ll take you through the entire process of logging into your Epic Games account and redeeming the card.
After you complete the redemption process on the website, launch Fortnite. You should automatically get the Color Splash Jellie skin as well as the V-Bucks from your V-Bucks Card. Note that the Color Splash Jellie skin is both for Fortnite Battle Royale and LEGO Fortnite, too!
