How to Unlock AA-12 Weapon
To unlock the AA-12 shotgun, you will need to get 15 kills with shotguns from point-blank range. Point-blank in XDefiant is defined as a range of 5 meters or less. Even though there isn’t an exact way to measure 5 meters in game, you can basically think of it as being right in front of someone.

How to Complete the Challenge
Most of the challenges in XDefiant can be done across multiple games, and this challenge is no different in that regard. The total amount of kills is also fairly low, especially with shotguns. Most of your engagements will be very short-range by default.
You can choose to use the M870 or the Double Barrel shotguns. For most people, the M870 is the ideal choice as it is unlocked by default. Other than that, the M870 will also one-shot people from close range, making the challenge much easier.
Your overall loadout can also help you complete the challenge much quicker. The challenge requires you to get extremely close to your opponents. You can use something like the Flashbang Device to stun enemies and close the distance between you and them. All weapons in XDefiant can be upgraded by simply playing them. Each weapon has its own progression system, and leveling up the weapon will let you unlock attachments for it. Unlock all the weapons in the game and fine that works best for you.
