Once you get to that area, look for the Small Elemental Tree shown above. It’ll be marked on your minimap in-game with a blue star-shaped icon. Interact with it to complete the first of 3 objectives for the Exploration Codex.
After you interact with the Small Elemental Tree, turn around to look directly south of your current location. You should spot a blue glowing Elemental Spirit. It looks just like the Small Elemental Tree, just spiritual! Approach the spirit and follow it, ideally using a Dash Morph for speed.
The Spirit Tree will disappear and continue appearing in front of you, taking you further southeast. Just keep following it until you reach a second Small Elemental Tree. Do so and you’ll have completed the second objective for the Exploration Codex.
Now, for the third and final objective, you just need to talk to the Small Elemental Tree nearby. It’s right where the Elemental Spirit led you, marked with a blue star-shaped icon as usual. Interact with it to complete the third and final objective. You’ll get the Green Ranger Elowen Guardian as a reward!
