You’ll need to get the Celestial Larva if you wish to Double Jump in The Last Faith. And really, who doesn’t love Double Jumps!?
Double Jumps are a platformer and Metroidvania staple, as they always make traversal much more fun. They are also really helpful in combat too, which is most of what you’re doing in The Last Faith!
In this guide, we’ll tell you how to get the Celestial Larva to unlock the double jump ability.
How to Get the Celestial Larva and Double Jump Ability
You can only get the Celestial Larva and the Double Jump ability once you have lit up all 4 Braziers within the Ordens Regnant Palace.
Lighting up every one of the Braziers will open the gigantic door at the center of the palace. Now, steel yourself because a powerful boss awaits you beyond the gate.
Manfredd the Accursed is as gigantic as the door you had to open to reach him. His moves are somewhat slow due to his size. However, don’t underestimate the size and power of his attacks!
Additionally, he can teleport and turn himself invisible at times. He can also summon blood orbs to act as projectiles, which you can break with your attacks. Lastly, watch out for the blood pillars he summons!
Take down this powerful foe and you’ll be one step closer to obtaining the coveted Double Jump ability.
Once Manfredd goes down, take the rightmost exit out of the boss’ arena.
This will take you to a snowy open room, which has a chest on the right edge. Open the chest to obtain the Celestial Larva, which grants you the ability to Double Jump.
Now, all you need to do is press the Jump button again while you’re in mid-air. Eryk will sprout ghastly wings for a moment and boost himself further into the air!
Make sure to use this ability to grab the items in the area and you’re all done here.
Venezuelan gamer cursed by being interested by most games, resulting in a ridiculous backlog he’ll never be able to conquer. Been gaming for over two decades now! Few things exemplify his wide variety in gaming tastes as the fact that he’s a big fan of both Souls games and the Atelier series at the same time. Also a big fan of Yakuza/Like a Dragon, Deadly Premonition, Zero Escape, and Dead Rising, among others. Considers Lost Judgment and Sekiro to both be masterpieces.
