Siding with a certain party during a raid will allow you to kill Burgrave Hashek. Then, you can choose to proudly exclaim what it is you’ve done… just to be rewarded with a special hanging cutscene that leads to an early ending.

Secret Hanging Ending | Early Ending in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2
You can get the secret Hanging early ending in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 during the 8th main quest in the game, “Necessary Evil”. To be able to get the secret ending, you have to fulfill these conditions first:

To ensure that it happens, give Otto von Bergrow all the information you get from torturing the prisoner at the start of the quest. It doesn’t matter if you reveal who the bandit leader is or not, however. Just make sure to lead them to Semine instead of Nekabov.
- Side with Semine once the raid on the fortress starts. To do so, select these dialogue options at the start of the raid:
- “We’ll sort it peacefully”
- “You can’t do that”
- “You’re going too far!”
- “I’m going to stop this”
If you do it right, you’ll end up helping Semine during the raid. As such, you’ll need to kill Burgrave Hashek and his men to stop them from raiding the fortress. It’s going to be a tough fight, so be ready! It’s a good idea to bring some good armor, such as Brunswick’s Armor from The Lion’s Crest DLC:
Alternatively, you can side with Hashek for the raid. Afterwards, he will order you to find Olda Semine. This gives you a second chance to side with Semine and kill Hashek. If you wish to do that, pick the following dialogue choices when you encounter Semine:
- “What exactly did our men do to you?”
- “I’ll let you go”
- “And what if I were?”
This will let you duel Burgrave Hashek and his men even if you sided with them for the raid itself.
Report to Von Bergrow in the Morning
Once you’ve dealt with Hashek and his men, you’ll need to return to Otto von Bergrow and report how the raid went down. Thanks to you switching sides, it went down quite badly! During this conversation, choose the following dialogue options:
- “It was Hashek’s fault.”
- “Hashek gave orders to execute him!”
- “We killed the burgrave!”
As you might guess, Otto von Bergrow doesn’t take kindly to that revelation. He has Henry imprisoned and then a short cutscene plays out. This results in a special Game Over.
However, this secret Hanging early ending doesn’t have any achievement in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2. It also doesn’t count as finishing the game, either. You’re simply forced to reload your last save!
