The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion just got remastered, and because of how old it is, there are plenty of people coming in for the first time and still figuring out the mechanics. There are many ways to level up skills either in intended ways or by exploiting certain features of this janky old title. In this guide, we will try to help you find ways to level up your conjuration magic quickly.

How To Level Conjuration (Summoning) Fast In Oblivion Remastered

In order to level up your conjuration, just like any other school of magic in the game, you simply have to keep casting any spell that falls under it. That is quite literally all you need to do, and it does not get any simpler than that.

Obviously, you do not have infinite magicka, and depending on what level you start at, your only options might be bound weapons and armor, which cannot be cast over and over again. However, what you can do itget multiple of them, and then insert them to your quick wheel hotkeys.

For example, you can spam bound dagger and a few other armor pieces that your level and maximum magicka allows you to summon. Just keep spamming it until you run out of magicka, and then wait to refill it immediately.

No, we do not mean waiting as in sitting there and watching your mana bar go up. Use the actual waiting mechanic in the game that you can do anywhere unless you are trespassing or there are enemies nearby. This will refill your entire magicka bar, allowing you to spam again.

Just keep repeating this until you are satisfied with your current conjuration level. You do not need to do any item duping exploits and whatnot to get a hundred mana potions. Simply take the extra second to just wait an hour of ingame time, and your levels will fly by quickly.

Once your experience rates start slowing down and you have gained more levels, look into buying whichever highest level conjuration spell you can get at the moment and start spamming that instead.

There is no secret formula to this, and it is extremely easy to powerlevel this skill as you do not need a target to get experience. So, to recap, this is your entire method:

  • Step #1. Stand somewhere safe – Preferably in the Chorrol Mages Guild because they have NPCs who sell conjuration spells of varying levels. Even people with very low conjuration can get usable spells here.
  • Step #2. Equip your best conjuration spells – If you have just a couple of bound gear spells, do take note that you cannot spam them while they are still active. Get spells for multiple different pieces if you can afford it.
  • Step #3. Spam away, then wait to regen – From here, just spam your spells until you do not have mana left, and then use the ingame waiting mechanic to wait just a single hour.

That is all there is to it. With this method, you will have little to no downtime in between your conjuration spamming. This is also how you can level up most other schools of magic. Restoration and illusion, for example, are easily spammable with no effort.
