Magic Powder is one of the most common crafting materials you can get in Throne & Liberty.

By the same token, Magic Powder is also one of the most useful crafting materials. It’s used for almost every type of crafting recipe, be it weapons or armor. As such, you simply can’t ever have enough of it!

In this guide, we’ll help you maintain a steady supply of Magic Powder by telling you how to get it easily.

How to Get Magic Powder | Throne & Liberty

Example of Magic Powder as a quest reward

There are many ways to get Magic Powder in Throne & Liberty, with the most basic one being to just complete quests. It’s a relatively common reward for Contracts and Exploration Codex tasks, among others. However, while this is a nice “passive” method, you’ll only get a small amount of it.

Dissolve icon

If you really want to hoard dozens of Magic Powder, though, you’ll need to Dissolve your equipment. You can do so by clicking on the Dissolve tool icon on the bottom right of your Inventory menu.

Then, select all the equipment you want to Dissolve. You’ll be able to see how much Magic Powder you’ll get for your equipment. You’re pretty much guaranteed to get large amounts of at least one tier of Magic Powder, but you also have a chance to get higher-tier variants. The rarer the equipment is, the rarer the Magic Powder will be!

Dissolving

Once you’re satisfied with your selection, click on the Dissolve button. Note that you’ll also need to pay a small fee in Sollant to Dissolve. The cost increases based on equipment rarity and quantity, but it’s usually a meager amount. Either way, just confirm to get your Magic Powder.

This is just a quick briefing on Dissolving for the purpose of getting Magic Powder, though. For more details, check out our guide on how to Dissolve equipment.

Zimmer's Shop Location

If you don’t have any junk equipment you wish to Dissolve, you can always purchase it from any Equipment Merchant.

Zimmer's Shop

For example, visit Zimmer’s shop in Kastleton. He sells a bunch of cheap Common equipment which is perfect for Dissolving en masse if you need Magic Powder!

Crafting Higher-Tier Magic Powder

Crafting Quality Magic Powder

Similar to other materials, you can use low-rarity Magic Powder to craft the next rarity tier. The conversion rate is, as always, 5-to-1 when crafting like this. Here’s a cheat sheet of what you need to craft every tier of Magic Powder:

  • 1 Quality Magic Powder – Magic Powder x5
  • 1 Rare Magic Powder – Quality Magic Powder x5
  • 1 Precious Magic Powder – Rare Magic Powder x5

As a recommendation, it’s generally better to just craft higher tiers of Magic Powder instead of Dissolving high-tier equipment. That is, of course, unless you’re absolutely certain you have no other uses for the equipment in question. We leave that decision up to you!

Nonetheless, you now know everything you need to know to be able to get every type of Magic Powder in Throne & Liberty. Time to start Dissolving dozens of different equipment pieces to collect it!
