As you progress through the game, your fame level will gradually increase, and at certain milestones, important events will trigger that will change the course of your adventure. Here is what happens once you reach fame level 6.
All Fame 6 World Events/State Guide
Upon reaching fame level 6, you can rescue the emperor from the Yan Yun Iron Army Palace Camp. Upon your arrival at the camp, you can either:
- Introduce yourself – Allows you to roam around the area.
- Eliminate – Will initiate a fight and reward you with the Direct Assault achievement.
- Back away – Simply leave the premises.
While you’re in the camp, you can find the Kunwu Recipe and the Seal of the Sky within the main tent. At the back of the camp, you will find the emperor inside a cage. You can free him by either:

- Opening the cage (requires level 3 Machinery)
After freeing the emperor, you will have to escort him out of the camp. At this point, killing every general wearing black armor will get you the Top Achiever achievement.
If you did not eliminate the entire Yan Yun Iron Army, the city of Chuxiang will be attacked after a few days. If that happens, the following events will occur:
- You will face off against the Yan Yun Iron Army (consisting of level 70 enemies)
- Another group fight against the army’s leaders and the Nine Factions sect (level 80)
Successfully beating these enemies will result in you getting the Guardian of Chuxiang ending, though you will also lose access to the Chuxiang Hero Statue.
